“Same Day Delivery”? HA. Don’t waste your time (or money)
I ordered Same Day Delivery at 3:40pm today through the Spec’s website. Paid for Delivery Charges of $4.99 and a tip of $8 (it said UberDirect) and only gave an option of Delivery 6-7pm. No problem, my account was charged, I received a confirmation #228967780 in an email from Specsonline.com
At 7:30pm, a kind gentleman associate called me and asked if I was coming to pick up- it had been ready since 4pm. No… I ordered delivery and paid a service fee and tip? He said he would reach out to UberDirect and call back.
At 8:30pm, I called again, was given to a female manager. Explained I hadn’t heard back and she asked me to call UberDirect. I have no information to call them as I paid through the Spec’s website? She continued on, interrupting and speaking over me “You’re not the only one we’ve had multiple complaints. It’s not just you! Some come pick it up some cancel there’s nothing we can do this is a Third Party you have to call them. Do you have a Confirmation number?” YES FROM YOU, who I placed the order through
“You didn’t place the order through me!”
Sent me over the edge. No apology, how can we help, just “not MY fault” (I think we’re all smart enough to realize when I said “you” I was referring to Specs) and continued loud talking over interrupting nasty attitude about how it happens all the time telling me “We have many complaints it’s not just you, come pick it up or just call corporate!!”
Ok, Corporate, I wasn’t (mad) at Specs, but I had no recourse to find out my order/ get my money back as I ordered through the (SPEC’S Website) and that Customer Service from the Manager on 9/27 @ 8:30pm is atrocious, shocking and unacceptable. Regardless if it’s a Third Party’s fault or not- I can tell you who it’s NOT, and that’s MINE, as a consumer, who not only paid $136 but had to wait 5 hours to get talked over, told to contact someone else, not “her fault and just call corporate”. I work in Retail also and speaking to a customer like that is absolutely unacceptable and I will be letting the (neighborhoods) know as they’re the ones who posted we could order delivery through the Spec’s website.
Yes, you can, you will be charged, won’t get it, then they’ll nastily talk over you asking what to do- tell you to handle it or come pick it up- good luck on your delivery fee and tip lol
Never again.

When I went there for the 3rd time within 2 months they asked me why I’m always there, implying I’m a alcoholic when I’m getting alcohol for a party that I have every other weekend, where we bring our favorite drink and share, idk why that implies I’m an alcoholic when I’m not drinking 1/4 of that. Never coming back.
