This review is for Harry Potter "A Forbidden Forest Experience" A magical trip to the Forbidden Forest: an enchanted experience comes to Little Elm Park, TexasThe Forbidden Forest experience at this park is such a joy for wizards and muggles of all sorts that I assure you, some people who would not have considered themselves Harry Potter fans are delighted with it! (me)A magical atmosphere has been created by bright lights and amazing sounds that transport you straight to the wizard's world from the moment you enter the park. It is a dream landscape that brings to life an extraordinary journey. The passage through the Forbidden Forest is approximately one and a half hours long, though you'll have to stay longer due to the photogenic moments occurring along the way. A few of the elements that make this experience really amazing include meeting mythical monsters such as hippogriffs and attempting to cast a Patronus charm. It may seem a bit steep to pay the admission fee, but all Knuts and Sickles are good investments for an entertaining adventure that awaits us. It's amazing how much attention has been paid to recreating the Forbidden Forest, and this experience is a distillation of J.K. Rowling's famous world.Advice for other wizards and witches: dressing up isn't just encouraged; it's practically mandatory! You can be fully immersed in the magic atmosphere by wearing your favorite wizard's robes, scarves, and hats. But of course, your wand should be brought with you! You never know when the spell or two might need to be summoned! And make sure to download their app. You'll be impressed by the commitment and creativity it takes to bring this experience to life as you walk through the Forbidden Forest. That is a wonderful way of connecting with other Potterheads and creating lasting memories that are going to allow you to reflect on your magical journey for years to come. After all, if you're not a huge fan of Harry Potter, this Forbidden Forest experience at Little Elm Park will be an enchanted adventure and leave you on your feet. So, get your wands and come together with the other wizards so you can start preparing for an adventure that's beyond the boundaries between fiction and reality!

Went for the Harry Potter experience, so it was pretty dark and dreary. However, the park looked beautiful. Good parking and plenty of mature trees. It also had good clean facilities.Restrooms: Very clean and easy to access

We went to the Harry Potter Forbidden Forrest Experience last night and it was great! We had such a good time! It was magical! It was everything that Harry Potter should be! If you haven't booked yet then do so! When you book I would recommend booking the early time! We booked the first spot and the parking was plentiful! When we left the parking lot was insane! So keep that in mind. There is a small gift hut at the beginning where you can purchase wands and such but keep it light because the trail IS LONG and you have to carry those items! PLUS, there is a larger gift shop at the end with MANY MORE ITEMS!! Oh and lots of yummy goodies in the village to treat yourself at the end of the trail!!! Hot chocolates galore, butter beer, snacks, and adult magic libations! Sooo many goodies in the gift shop too! Chocolate frogs, Bertie Botts Beans, Chocolate Wands, Cloaks, etc. Plan accordingly!P.S Porta potties at the beginning and end of the trail. If you bring small kids plan for that too!

I am at the park 5 of 7 days a week. Each day that I'm there, there's always maintenance being done to improve and/or beautify the park. It is always clean, including the walking trail within, and I feel safe at all times. I appreciate having somewhere to walk and start my days off the right way.

Great place to take the family. Bring some chairs, blankets, canopy tent, and have a picnic. Kids have the water to play in, or they can play at the playground . It's also a beautiful trail where I jog.Playground: Clean and has a lot of different obstacles that will keep the kids busyRestrooms: It's generally clean, but not always. It's what you expect for a park.Dog-friendliness: Dogs can walk the trail. There are a couple of stations for you to pick up after your dog.Picnic area: Clean and plenty of space for a party or a gathering

Great place to host large events. I come here to play soccer sometimes and the fields are great, they have many different sizes and there are lots of those fields. I also like the volleyball courts because there are some by the playground (which is asking huge) and some by the water which has a nice view of the lake. The actual beach is big and as from what i have seen recently the water quality is improving. I came recently for Diwali at the beach which is a huge Hindu event they host yearly. Overall it’s a great place to spent time

I miss the days of not having to pay for parking. It's not a bad park, but it's a shame to have to pay to use the area most of the time.

It’s a great park with so many options. Love the trails around the lake. Get out there in mornings and you could just keep walking the trails. Most part of trails have good tree cover which is not very common in north Texas trails.

I go to little elm for the sand at the Lake. And love going out to the lake to spend the day with family. 10$ gets our whole car in. There is not only a cool playground, but this place has lots of volleyball nets set up. They have rentals for kayaks, and waterboarding. Of course if you have your own water crafts they have docks and ramps for that as well. This is a nice little area that I just learned about, and love it. It's wonderful seeing the sunset out here. I also enjoy seeing all the families that come out and play together.Playground: The playground is pretty cool, lots of climbing challenges for the tiny parkour people, in our lives. No complaints there. Only about having to leave, sometimes. lolRestrooms: Restrooms are in good and clean conditions. Plenty of room to change if you need to. They also have some outdoor showers, to wash off all the sand.Dog-friendliness: It is dog friendly, leash only. No free range dogos, though.Picnic area: The picnic areas are shaded which is a plus. The picnic areas are well maintained. Lots of people bring their own shade down by the water and their own floats as well.

$10 parking every weekend -even when it's not a holiday or holiday weekend- is unpleasant, and hasn't helped with the large crowds during holidays and nice-weather days at the beachfront.Otherwise, I love this place. It's generally peaceful, the beach stays pretty clean. It's dog-friendly.They have kayak rentals available, too. There is a boat landing just before the bridge on El Dorado Pkwy. They have a ball field, several sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, and trails to roam through.

Pretty good for children. Gets super packed in weekends and summer time, so I would recommend going during the week. I like that they can play in the sand next to the park which is a volley ball court. The lake is also walking distance from the park and the sand is clean, which is great for the kids. The restrooms doesn't have a mirror, and the restrooms are usually dirty.Playground: Playground is fun for the childrenRestrooms: No mirrors, and dirty

I rode my electric bike so i could see everything. This park is really big. It has a small beach with sand volleyball nets set up ready for play. It's a very inviting place. Large playground for kids. Lots of rest spots and trees which is a major plus in this heat. The restrooms are your typical park restroom clean but worn. The best part is if you want peace to just take in the sounds or want to picnic with a small or large group you don't have to be on top of each other. There are plenty of eateries around also. You can buy something and go right to the park and chill. The walking trail is not that big but talking about nature WOW! The trail follows the lake. They have paddle board rentals and there are plenty of benchs and little off the path places to sit and enjoy the water scene. There are 2 heads up I would like to share. The 1st is if you drive your car it costs $10 to get in and the second directly across the street is the Margarita Hut. ?Playground: LargePicnic area: Large
