Took my doggy "sugar" here for an emergency surgery ( open pyometra) they were very urgent about the matter we were sent back into a room almost immediately and the doctor came in dang near as soon as the nurse left. Did a physical exam on sugar and sent her back to get prepped for surgery immediately. THEY SAVED MY DOGS LIFE! and for that I'm beyond grateful for every single person that works there. Will definitely be using Banfield for all my pets current or future. Great people and they truly care about your pets no doubt! Sugar is doing great now and picture attached is the night she came home from the surgery (she's mad she had to wear the cone of death tho)

ZERO STARS!!!! AVOID!!! This place doesn't care about your dog. We went in for a dental procedure and were quoted $2100. We went to pay and their system was "down" after it declined my card so we paid with the card on our profile. They double charged us. After 3 months of fighting they are refusing to refund us. They are putting the blame on our bank when they are the ones who charged us. Take your pet somewhere else!!!!!

The office people were friendly but not very informative. I was never told when setting up my appointment that I’d need to bring certain records, so when I showed up to drop my cat off for a urinalysis— they said they couldn’t do anything until I went home and emailed them a copy of her shots record. Something I should’ve been told before to be prepared. But that’s just the beginning. My cat is super friendly and has never had a problem with the vet. This was our first time here though. I dropped her off at 8am and they were going to keep her for the day. They call me at 12:30pm to tell me “she’s freaking out and has pooped all over herself but they don’t know why”. My cat has never been anxious at the vet so they must have treated her poorly to get her in that state. Along with that— they didn’t clean her up. So when I went to go get her at 4:30– she was covered in her own poop/pee. I paid them $300 for them to traumatize my cat, not clean her, and also give me medicine I already knew/asked was ok. Horrible experience. I wanted to cry all day after they called me. Never going back.

To be a place that’s supposed to care for animals and then instead send them home traumatized and Unlike themselves is completely unacceptable. My friends cat has been nothing but gentle and friendly to anyone she’s come in contact with and then to hear how she was acting and how she was sent home is so absolutely disappointing and disgusting behavior on the part of this business. I hope there are major repercussions. No animal should leave the vet in worse shape than they arrived due to the acts of the workers.

Very disappointedSuper nice employees but they will not give you enough information they signed me up for the wellness plan and then told me about all the extra charges I have to pay them.I went there to do simple tooth cleaning and signed up for the plan to save money after signing up they are telling me about all the extra charges I had to pay.

Pros: very clean reception area and initial examination room. Front office staff was very friendly but they didn’t recognize me or my dog.Cons: 1) front office staff seems to change frequently, 2) mid office/technicians seem to change frequently and 3) Dr. seems to change frequently.Big turn- offs: 1) they tried to upsell me services that were not necessary, 2) I brought my dog in for his annual checkup and a Heartworm test - less than ten minutes total and it cost more than $180.00! and I never even saw the Dr. / he/she didn’t come out to see me at any time before, during or after the exam. I don’t even know if a Dr. actually saw my dog. I did notice that the name on my heartworm prescription was different than the previous Dr. who saw him. I didn’t like not seeing the Dr. I’m seriously considering taking my dog to a different Dr./facility when jt comes time for his next exam or service. There is lots of competition/options available, so I have a difficult time recommending this vet/facility.

I recently had to put my dog down who I had had for almost 16 years. The staff was caring during this very difficult time which I greatly appreciated. However, on the day I had to put my baby down I found out that I was unable to cancel the wellness plan and I would have to keep paying until the end of my plan ( 6 more months) . This kind of feels like a kick when you're down. I understand this is not an issue with the Little Elm location but more the company.

Brought my doggie in as a new client. He has had some leg issues. Everyone was a friendly and Hawkeye was a happy doggie when they finished the appointment. I also appreciated that they called the next day to see how he was doing. I will continue to come to Banfield Little Elm.Thank you for taking care of my boy!

I recently had to put my dog to sleep at Banfield Hospital and I was very impressed with the level of care and compassion that the staff showed during this difficult time. The veterinarian was very patient and understanding and took the time to explain the process to me. The staff was also very accommodating and made sure that my dog was comfortable throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Banfield Hospital to anyone who is looking for a caring and compassionate veterinary hospital.

Dr. Rodgers and Goldcamp have been the best. DO NOT use dr. Enganti. She neutered my dog and while closing up his incision she tied up his ureter. He ended up needing emergency surgery because he was super sick due to having a full bladder for 12+ hours after surgery. Banfield covered the costs of the surgery but now he has an ostomy that he urinates from that will affect him for the rest of his life. This was super traumatic for us to experience. I’m just glad we knew something he was off early on.The vet techs have all been awesome. Jaylee has been my favorite. You can tell she really cares for the animals.

My doggie now has permanent damage from what should have been a "routine" dental cleaning. I've had this situation escalated to upper management but no one seems to care. PLEASE, IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.

We followed Dr. Michelle L. Rodgers to this location because of her exceptional skills and willingness to offer alternatives for care. Dr. Rodgers acted quickly 5 years ago when I has a very sick 8 week old puppy. Her actions saved the life of this little one who had an underlying infection I was not informed about. The puppy seized in the first 2 days I had her and with quick assessment by Dr. Rodgers, her efforts and recommendations saved this little one. Mimi is now 5yo and though she has outlived her sisters 14yo and 12yo, we are forever grateful for Dr. Rodgers excellent care and skills.
