“My wife has a 2022 VW Atlas. Great car except it made a wretched, intolerable grinding sound every time you use the brakes. After 3 visits to the VW dealership they said nothing is wrong, the brakes are perfectly functional. Yeah but I rather not sound like I’m slaying a T-Rex every time I tap the brakes. Went to Lindale tire to get new brake pads after reading online that other Atlas drivers(a huge number have had the same issue due to faulty brake pads) have had the same issue. Jeff was t confident new pads would stop the sound, but I was willing to change them all out just to have. Change of blissful brake silence. He suggested we only change the front pads and see if that helped(as the pads were all in good condition, but made of a material that caused the sound). It worked! And kudos to Jeff for not just taking our money and suggesting a less expensive fix!”
