This will be my first stop from now on. I needed one screw, not 5 or 10 or 50 like the big box stores sell. It cost me $.23 cents and the gentleman up front helped me find it in the bin. Outstanding customer service and I was able to buy exactly what I needed and not have a bunch left over. It looks like they have just about anything a DYI'er would need.

This is a medium shop with a bunch of things you need for your home repair/upgrades. Don't let the name fool you, they have a ton hardware and stuff they won't ever have at the big box stores. The staff is terrific always! Stop here first for your projects!

Please be aware they allowed a contractor to purchase materials for my job site without my consent and then placed a lien when the contractor didn’t pay - had no prior knowledge of the transaction or if the material was ever delivered to my site - and got very defensive when I inquired. Be careful out there - FYI

It is the best hometown "go to" for building materials and more! Lots of tools and yard equipment. It also has an area where we do a lot of our gift shopping- unique gifts for baby showers, birthdays, housewarming, etc. The service is always gracious and friendly. It is closed Saturday noon until Monday morning.

I am a former employee of Smith County Lumber, and I'm proud to say I had a great experience working there, the people are awesome to work with and the environment is great. I personally felt like we were a family more than just coworkers, but I've also been on the receiving end and I believe the customer service is phenomenal, I'm glad I had the chance work there and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a job, or just need some lumber, this is the place for you.
