Eight years ago; almost to the day, I bought a good used car from John Pittman. John's the owner of a family business selling used cars. His son, Johnny Pittman Jr., is following in his father's footsteps and is part of that family and company. They're honest - hard working folks, and John's wife is right there with them, keeping the books and involved with helping to run the business. The name (Pittman Motor Co) has been the same, and recognized in Lindale, Texas for 20 years. If you enjoy dealing with a really great company for your next vehicle, go see John and his family, you won't be sorry . Man this place is awesome! After looking for months for TJs I came across one at their dealership. I had just looked at a 99 TJ that was rusting out underneath for $16K at another dealer, so I already wasn’t in a good mood. But when I saw this 03 TJ in excellent condition I just had to check it out. So I looked at the frame and I couldn’t believe how clean it was!!! The undercarriage had zero rust!!! So no rust, outside was in excellent shape for its age, interior was the same, I just knew I had to have it. The pittman’s are wonderful people and it was one of the easiest and fastest car transactions I’ve ever had. They were excellent to talk to, and they agreed to have 3 minor issues checked out/fixed before taking it home. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and I’m glad the search and wait is over! Thank you guys for having a very clean TJ on the lot.

I did mechanic work on several of this dealers cars and they were all in TERRIBLE shape. He did not want to fix the issues. He was ok with putting his customers safety at risk as long as the cars run and drive. Do not recommend anyone buying a car from this dealer. I wouldn’t put my family in what I’ve seen.

These guys are great. Its not often I buy from a dealer, but these guys were fair, easy to work with and willing to go the extra mile to get my business. I spot a problem with my prospective vehicle during a test drive and they fixed it and earned my business. Stand up place. I'll be back.
