We really liked the location of this property. It's right off the interstate, and it's near restaurants.The young lady who checked us in was very nice and professional.Our room smelled....not great. There was a heavy use of Fabuloso throughout the property, and that begs the question - what smell are you trying to hide? When the Fabuloso wore off in our room, the room smelled like a dog. A wet dog.Hilton: Please stop allowing people to bring their dogs to your hotels. Not everyone bathes their dog regularly, and you are creating a hardship for your hotel owners and employees. Not to mention it's making things less pleasant for the rest of us.We were awakened at 6am by a dog barking across the hall from us.I might possibly stay here again if it's for just one night like it was this time, but I wouldn't stay longer than that.

Darron at the front desk got my group checked in quick, and since he heard me mention I preferred a higher floor if possible- he put me on the third floor. Great service, and near many stores and restaurants. I'm glad I decided to try this Hampton Inn and will definitely return.

I made a reservation for 3 adults and they gave me a room with a single King bed. Not even a couch in the room. When I asked the clerk if that made any sense, he just smugishly replied: "it can work if all 3 of you scooch in the bed". It was midnight, so I decided to take the room and ended up sleeping on the floor.

It was almost midnight when I got here. Had a smooth check in process. Staff were super helpful. Great breakfast options. Highly recommend!

The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast was wonderful.. and the staff was very friendly and sweet. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely stay every time we pass through! Thank you!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was awesome. Lots of variety. We would most return.Food & drinks: There are food options nearby.

Work has brought me to Mineola, TX. Found this Hampton 20 minutes south. Considering this is next to I-20, it was relatively quiet. Staff was friendly, had a little issue with checking in on the app, and was solved quickly. I would recommend this hotel if you're needing a place to spent the night.

The hotel is right off the highway and near to many stores—Walmart, Sonic, McDonalds, Starbucks, Chickfila, Chilis, iHop, Posados just to name a few.The rooms are very clean and seem recently updated because they look new without wear and tear. They are spacious with a lot of walking space. The bathrooms are larger with a lot of sink space, walking room, and a large shower.There are the basic amenities such as a pool, workout room, computer office area, drink and snack vending.The hot breakfast served in the morning had many options from sausage, eggs, biscuits, to oatmeal, fruit, bagels, and waffles. Juices, coffees, milk, and hot water were available for drinks. Plenty of eating room with comfy booths.When I asked for new makeup wipes, toilet paper, and towel refresh, it was delivered promptly to my room by a friendly employee. I received two rolls, several towels and several wipes. I was impressed by the service!Overall, I would rate this small town hotel the highest of stars. I cannot find anything to complain about.

I experienced first hand that the manager at this hotels location was very rude to a UPS employee who was bringing in packages. It was a couple weeks back, the UPS worker was letting the manager know something about the packages and how to handle them in a polite way and just letting him know what not to do next time, the manager had the nastiest attitude and didn’t pay him any mind and just said “Oh well” and kept walking out the door and left. Personally I believe that, that was very unprofessional of him. Do better and treat everyone the same.

I have stayed at this Hampton several times and have always came back because of above average if not very good location, staff, and room cleanliness. This particular time was an exception. When I checked in at around 5:45 PM I told the young desk attendant that I had checked in online but I needed a key. I then asked (since it seems no Hamptons recognize your status anymore) if they had any Diamond perks (like snacks and waters) and his comment was "Well I can wish you happy birthday". What the hell kind of comment was that? I am in room 106 and there were food crumbs under the desk chair and the tile floor was slippery in spots, sticky in others. What can I expect then but to assume the whole room wasn't vacuumed and the tile floor I mopped myself with a towel. Anyway I hope this was all a glitch in service and housekeeping because of my past experience with this property as I expect I will be staying here in the future because of location.
