Brookshire's is a full-service supermarket focused on excellent customer service, quality meats hand-cut in store daily, fresh produce, and full service deli and bakeries. Reviews note the store in Lindale has a very good selection of meats and produce, stocked early. Many find it better than Walmart for produce and dairy, offering more for less, even though some products are more expensive. The sushi is great, especially when specially ordered, with better quality and bigger portions for cheaper than local restaurants. The deli is also great.
