I've taken my vehicle multiple times to American Automotive and most recently they not only took the time to evaluate and diagnose the issue, but recommended that I take it back to the dealership when it has been something out of their control to repair at no charge. I highly recommend them for your repair needs as a local honest hometown business.

I’ve always had a great experience with American Automotive. This week I took my 2015 Ram in to have my AC fixed. The Dodge dealership quoted me $3700 ($600 for the part and over 3 grand for labor) and 13 hours to replace the evaporator core. American Automotive replaced the evaporator core for only $1438 and only took them 7.5 hours!

Daughters Pacificas radiator leaking and engine fan not working properly. Dropped it off yesterday late afternoon and it was ready today by noon. Great work done by professionals.

The best. I am retired and have dealt with many auto repair shops over the years, but none as good as American in Lindale. Not only does he do excellent work, completed when promised, but actually tries to help the customer save money. I would never consider taking my car anywhere else.

With pretty short notice of our truck's cracked radiator, they were able to get us in 8 AM the morning of the sleet storm. We dropped off our truck and were impressed with how clean and spacious the inside of the customer service area was. They communicated well with us via text and less than 4 hours later our truck had a new radiator installed and ready for pick up. Price was as expected and we didn't have any downtime for our family of three drivers heading in different directions each day. Thank you!! We greatly appreciate your quick and professional work.

The best shop in Texas I must say 5* by far. Very professional and honest business that's here to help you (They aren't there to take you for your hard earned money.) They go above and beyond to make sure whatever mechanical problem maybe that they save you money and your vehicle is fixed right not take advantage of you. Dave took great care of me and fixing my issues my 2019 fusion had blown motor, I'm here working 1800 miles from home he gave me number to call for a tow truck and gentleman was very helpful nice came to my show up yard picked it up took to american auto as Dave looked over it contacted me explaining what's wrong asking me what I wanted to do with only a short amount of time I had left here he had the parts order out in made sure that it was working correctly and no issues before I had to leave this town for the next job in very short time. I feel absolutely greatful and safe that the job was done right and best with absolutely no worries and that it was very reasonable priced. Thanks American auto you guys are the best.# The best shop in Lindale Texas!!!!

I had taken my 2015 Chevy Tahoe to the dealership because of suspension and air conditioning issues. It cost me $225 for them to tell me I needed 4 new struts and condenser, then I was told it was be $5600 to make the repairs. I spoke with Dave at American automotive and he completed all the repairs for about $2000 and I had my Tahoe back within a few day. I definitely recommend American Automotive. Being new to Texas, last week was the first time American Automotive did a repair on our car. After a free estimate (less than 25% of the dealer estimate ), they completed the repair quickly. My car heater now works like new. These guys will definitely be our first stop when we need car repairs. Thanks!
