Lori did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake! It not only tasted DELICIOUS but it looked beautiful. We sent a few pictures for design inspo and she executed it perfectly. We received so many compliments on the cake. She was very responsive, easy to communicate with and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend using her for any cake needs!

Our wedding cake was not only delicious, but beautiful!! We got three flavors - white almond, lemon blueberry, and strawberry - and guests raved about them all. Lori listened closely to our vision for pressed flowers curving up the tiers, and the cake turned out just as we imagined. We also had the chance to taste different flavors, allowing us to make the best decision. Thank you Lori!

Lori made my wedding cake. She was incredible to work with. The tasting was great… she accommodated us in every way, with so many flavor options and even offered customizations. We came up with a concept together, and she executed it flawlessly. I texted her inspiration photos periodically leading up to the day, and she incorporated every detail I’d hoped to see. The finished product felt so personal and unique. She took my ideas to heart and put her talent to work. With all of the stress of wedding planning, I felt at ease with Lori as our vendor. She is a light in a chaotic time. As for pricing, she is worth well more than double what she charges.

I would like to express my excitement about celebrating special occasions with delicious cakes or cupcakes from Classy Cakes by Lori! Whenever I need a cake or cupcakes, Classy Cakes by Lori is the only place I go to. Lori is incredibly talented, and I am always impressed with the love and care she puts into every cake and cupcake she makes. I have been a loyal customer for over three years, and every time I order, I am never disappointed.
Lori is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is always honest and upfront about the process of making a cake and will help you decide what will work best for the cake you envision. Her communication skills are excellent, and she will keep you informed before, during, and even after your order.

I contacted Lori by phone to request a strawberry shortcake for a birthday. I told her I wanted fresh strawberries and fresh whipped cream. I specifically requested no frosting/icing. She said she could do that so I sent her the payment.
I sent her a sample photo, which had cherries on top, and asked her to use strawberries instead.
The cake she made had thick layers of frosting/icing and was topped with blueberries. It did not have even a single strawberry, on the outside or in between the cake layers. (We later found what must have been the equivalent of one or two mashed up strawberry in the icing/frosting toward the middle of the cake - apparently she didn’t care about using the strawberries throughout the cake).
I had to run to the store myself to buy strawberries to replace the blueberries on top of the cake.
I paid Lori via Zelle as I was out of town and flying in for this birthday. Had I known that she wouldn’t provide what was ordered, I would not have paid via Zelle as there is no recourse to file a claim against her.
I messaged her to offer her an opportunity to refund part of the cake but did not receive a response until after I posted a review online.
And then the worst part of the experience. Rather than accept she made a mistake, she doubled down that she did add strawberries. She claims to have mashed them into the icing and added strawberry syrup. (Everyone that had a piece of cake agreed that there were no strawberries. We later found a couple mashed into the icing toward the middle of the cake.) Then she tried to pass off the icing/frosting mistake as a colloquial error saying that “around here” what people mean when they ask for whipped cream it is actually frosting. Wow.
I was refunded the full amount and an additional $20 which at least covered the trip to the store and cost of the strawberries.
This was an utterly disappointing experience and the cake was totally wrong. She clearly does not know what a strawberry shortcake is (hard to believe she is an experienced cake maker) and dealing with her afterward on the complaint was an awful experience.

Lori made us an awesome cake for our 2 year old’s birthday and even the guests were asking about who made the cupcakes too! Delicious! Highly recommend and worth the drive!

I dropped the ball on my couples shower cake, Lori was able to make me one with a 72 hour notice and it was beautiful. She has a plethora of flavors to choose from, it was delicious and everyone loved it. Loved our naked cake, thank you again Lori!

Lori did an amazing job on our wedding cake. All her cakes are from scratch. We ordered the Italian cream with her homemade strawberry mousse as a filling with the buttercream icing. It was sooooo good! Our wedding was a few months back but our wedding guests still talk about how delicious the cake was! Highly recommend her!

Me and my wife had the best experience with Lori and choosing a cake. From the samples to choosing a design. She was willing to work with us and gave us cost effective ideas and a little more costly ones but gave us the option. We never felt pressure and the end result was great! Thank you Lori!!

Wow!!! Our cake looked incredible. I gave Lori inspo photos and let her do her thing. We couldn’t get over how amazing it looked. The flavor was also AMAZING. We got chocolate and Mexican vanilla. Cannot wait to order from her again!

Lori is awesome! We had her do our wedding cake and it was SO yummy and so pretty!!! I had flowers for her to arrange onto the cake and she made it so beautiful. We already ate our leftover top portion which we were supposed to save for our first anniversary.. whoops LOL!From even the day we went to her home to try samples (we were STUFFED with amazing cake by the end of it) to our actual wedding day, her service and quality was fabulous. So glad we found her.
