I know everyone is going on about the burgers, and they are damn good burgers...but when I'm visiting, I have to stop in for breakfast cuz the biscuits & gravy are life changing. ? The gals there are always sweet & service is fast. A continued favorite for 7 yrs now.

Excellent burgers and fries. This place is the gem of Lexington! I had the cheeseburger on jalapeno cheddar bun. Can't wait to come back and try the in-house smoked brisket. Very friendly service, as well.

Here's the deal... I eat at a lot of places however I have NEVER had a patty melt stuffed with bacon and WOW what an mouth watering pleasure... You have to try the Bacon Stuffed Patty melt !!! Sit at the big table in front of the beer cooler and chat with the various locals who come and go. You will receive gardening tips, recent cow prices, location of local hidden barn finds and of course good old fashioned political views delivered in a respectable manner.

Herk's doesn't look like much from the outside but this is one of the best burgers you'll ever have. You can't order a burger here without trying the jalapeño bun... game changer! There is a drive through but since everything is made to order, don't expect fast food speeds. I can promise you that you'll appreciate the time they put into assuring the freshness. Make this a stop on your map when passing through Lexington!

Brisket sandwich was incredible as were the onion rings. Fries were on point says my wife. We had the chance to meet Wendy and she is awesome. It’s so nice to meet suck lovely people! We will be regulars.
