I come from Carrollton where Josey USPS manager refused to assist with a forwarding problem so truly appreciate how the staff here is so attentive and keep the line moving. Doesn't deserve the rating it has based on mail service, not this location

I went in to mail ONE large envelope and found only 1 person there with several people on line. One lady had a cart full of envelopes and packages which looked like about 15. The person on duty made no attempt to get any help. I walked out and went to the post office on Lake Dallas
They handled it IMMEDIATELY!

I live in Double Oak. I have lived at this address for 33 years. My zip is 75077. My mail is delivered from the Lewisville post office. For years we had a very nice lady delivering our mail. She retired.
Whoever delivers my mail doesn’t close the lid. Leaves it hanging open and with all the rain my mail gets wet. I don’t think it’s too much to ask that the lid on the box is closed.

Shout out to Mr Rogers who has great customer service. We asked about a passport appointment and the rude woman working told us to go to flower mound location with stank glare. Karma will come for her. We challenged because we made the appointment through USPS for this location. Mr Roger's saves the day and tells us appts are actually at County Clerk office next door. He was so friendly and helpful, even told us location of Clerks office in the City Hall building, give him a promo please! Post office was clean but also seemed to have long lines and not enough staff.

Laziest mailman I've ever seen. Refuses to exit vehicle to make a delivery for X, Y, Z reasons, constantly see him skip neighbors for a simple puddle in the driveway he can just drive over. What a shame the USPS has become and what a disservice to the community that makes your customer base.
What a shame.

Two of my packages said they couldn't be delivered. The people working were very helpful in holding both packages for me and I was able to get both! Then one of the employees explained since I just moved here he didn't want me to lose my package if I put the wrong address. Amazing service!

They claim they tried to deliver a package and supposedly left a note which I know they did because I was home the entire day they claim and the supposed note (found online) says no secure delivery spot but my apartment complex has lots of secure drop boxes. Someone just BS'd the system because it was too much like actual work. Now they want to charge me for redelivery. I'll have to take time off to go pick up at the post office otherwise. VERY unprofessional!

If I could leave zero stars I would, called customer service and instead of the person taking the time to listen to my concerns they wanted to try and talk over me and just tell me what informed delivery already told me. I didn’t call and go through 15 minutes of wait time for this person to tell me something I already knew. Then the person wanted to be sarcastic. I’m not the kind of person to even leave reviews so for me to take the time out of my day to write this should tell you something. If you go to this location or call expect to not get any answers and for them to bounce around your question.

Gwen at my local post office was awesome!! The lock on my mailbox broke and she got maintenence out there to fix it the very next morning as she promised. She even called me to follow up. Thanks Gwen

This post office is a HOT MESS….
I have so much missing mail and each and every time I contact this office, I get straight attitude and the same story it was delivered. How, where?? I don’t have my mail so how was it delivered.

I want to give a major shout out to Ms. Gwen who was so amazing in locating my mail.
I just moved into a brand new complex and noticed I was not receiving my mail. A package I was tracking for an event proved that I wasn’t when I got a notification that it was delivered but it wasn’t in my mailbox.
After almost a week on tracking down the carrier, getting pictures of where my items were. They were able to locate my items and Ms. Gwen instructed them to return them back to the post office and I was able to pick them up.
Long story short it was discovered that the list my complex and post office have for assigned mailboxes are different from each other. Which my complex and the post office have to sort out soon for themselves.
I wanted to show my biggest appreciation to Ms. Gwen who made sure to always call me back whenever she got an update on my mail.
It was amazing having someone who worked within the office fighting for me to get my stuff.
Forever grateful and wish her nothing but the best!
