Ethan was great and helped me find the items I was looking for. He was very attentive to all of the customers looking for items and even knew that one of the items I was looking for was in the back. He went and grabbed someone to help him but he is truly a fantastic employee.

Done going out of my way to support this store. Every single time I go at least one item rings up incorrectly. This isn’t a little accident, it’s intentional. I use to let it go but now I stay and wait in line at customer service to get it corrected or refund.. I’m done. I was constantly taking pictures of the price to try and help save myself some time but no more.. Tom Thumb obviously doesn’t care to keep customers, I won’t worry about staying a customer. This particular Tom Thumb is awful anyway, expired foods, produce is horrible at this location as well.

This review is related to home delivery which originated from this store. Received text saying on the way, then delayed, then undeliverable. Customer service tells me because no one home. There the whole time but no reason for them to need someone there. Default re-delivery is next day and “nothing they can do”. Can’t call driver because third party. Money back 5-7 business days. How is this helpful? How is this a convenience? How is this remotely good customer service for something they offer to the public? I know things happen such as out of stock, delayed orders - but this is a customer service issue. So, warning others and taking my business elsewhere.

There, mango habanero bake chicken is amazing. Any time I work in Lewisville, I always come to Tom Thombs and grab two legs and two thighs.

This will be my first and last time at this ROUND GROVE TOM THUMB's customer service. I waited in line behind another customer patiently for 5 minutes and then the customer stated that she needed help with another issue as well. She then turned around and realized that I had been waiting a long time just drop off a fed ex box. She told the customer rep to take me instead but the rep did not even look at me and stated loudly, "Oh let her wait, she just has to drop off a box". Then another 10 minutes later, the customer said, "hey I don't mind if you help the lady behind me since what I need is taking a long time". Then the customer rep weirdly stated, "There is no one waiting behind you. Don't worry about it". I was soooo confused that I had to walk away to collect myself. I almost wanted to ask her if I was invisible but I didn't want to make a scene in the middle of the store. I said nothing and came back and by this time, they had another rep there to help me. This lady was the opposite of the other one, treated me with a smile and professionalism her partner severely lacked. Again, I am very confused as to why the first one was so dismissive and rude and disrespectful towards me for NO reason at all. She refused to even make eye contact and tried to make me feel as less of a human for unknown reasons to me. I hope no one treats her this way and I hope that this lady can get the training she needs to be a better customer services rep. I wish I had asked her name but she would not have answered since I was invisible and all.

Horrible experience here. They advertise great deals but you have to jump through hoops to get them. Digital deals cannot be done through self checkout. Front end associate said discount would come off at the end - didn’t happen. Wanted me to unpack my order and wait in line at regular checkout to get the special. Sorry don’t have time for that - they can keep their groceries!

Nice place to shop only problem is the lack of cashiers..need more lanes moving customers..can't just have self checkout, the machines often call for the attendance of an employee to come and clear screen to be able to resume checkout

Went in to buy 4 lobster tails I asked twice how many where in the bag they said 4 and I was charged for 4 got home only 3 in the bag and one had green meat inside. Worse seafood selection ever!!!

So sad and unnecessary- it just seems like this location has declined so much that it’s clientele has moved on to better run stores. The pricing is such an ordeal for every visit and the fresh items (produce and meat) have severely declined in quality and availability.
