I did not feel rushed or feel like he was trying to add more services to make more money. I was given a full report of parts on my vehicle that had photos to show me the current condition and when they may need changed. I was given a quote on how much it’d be and I feel it’s a good heads up on things to watch out for. I was really impressed, and as a female it’s hard to know when you're being pressured into getting a service or if it’s actually needed. I was without air conditioning for 5 weeks and slowly dying any time I had to drive my car. There was another mechanic that I was trying to work with, but their prices were fluctuating all over the place and I couldn't get a straight answer from them. On a whim of desperation one afternoon I scheduled with Driver's Edge and they got me in the next day, they were straight forward with their answers and their prices, and they fixed my car in a day and a half!

“I recently was recommended to drop off my problematic 2018 Expedition, by a service advisor at the Richland Hills location, due to 3 months backlog. I was pleasantly surprised that the Lewisville location was able to diagnose and repair my overheating issue within a week. They even delivered my vehicle back to me in North Fort Worth, saving me a couple hours of driving. Unfortunately, they brought it back to me with a check engine light. I diagnosed it myself and determined that in the rush to get it out the door, they forgot to hook up a PCV hose which threw a code in the attached picture. I texted this information to my service advisor and never received a response.
Update: Sean, the manager over the service department at this facility called to understand the situation and to make it right. Sean is reimbursing previous expenses for a misdiagnosed overheating issue and assured me that the quality control would be drastically improved at his service center, as well as the level of communication between customer and service managers. I believe Sean will do the right thing and in good faith, I am raising this review from 2 stars to 4.”
“My wife "stumbled" across Mike's Tires when we were looking for tires for our Ford Explorer. I went there to get quote and was shocked at their low prices (about $500 less than the other stores we had gone to). I paid for (4) tires and they were there the next day, ready for installation.
When I returned for the installation, they got me right in & were done in about 30 minutes.

This location has gone way downhill and does not have ANY customer service, especially to those how have been customers for over 15 years. There's a reason we took our fleet business elsewhere and only use this location for tires. Management and employee turnover is at a high for this location. ALL of the ladies in this location need a class or two on customer service and how to treat long term customers. Also, we were notified that Firestone does NOT add any car repairs or maintenance to CarFax. The office is also really dirty and sloppy. They've lost a lug nut on one of our cars (now unsafe), they dont lock vehicles (so take your belongings), they are not PCI compliant by taking the credit card over the phone when i want to send an employee to get the card as we refuse to have a Fleet account due to their lack of professionalism and years prior keeping our credit card number in their personal wallet. Yesterday at 4:15pm they refuse to give me the keys to give to my employee as i'm standing there to pay = they say its policy to wait. I get policies but use common sense, we have a 18yr rapport running here (over $500,000 spent at this location specifically) and its 100 degrees outside. They are very rude, they took until after 6pm to call us about the 1 tire repair that was dropped off in the morning at 9:10am. The following morning, we said to go ahead and do the tire, first tried charging $174 plus tax for one tire on a corolla, i asked for a lower one and she gave me one so clearly trying to tell customers off the bat the higher price, probably bc this store is suffering. Briana told me it would be a few hours but it took another 6 and just sent an email when it was ready, not even a phone call. Literally NO cars were in the garage so the 5 to 6 slots they have were empty, why did it take almost 2 business days to get ONE tire?”

“All spots were full when i arrived but they took care of the customers quickly. Within 5 minutes i was in a spot and had told them what i was needing (2 used front tires/ 27565r20). They showed me the tires available and a price and began the work immediately. Tires were put on the wheels and on my truck in less than 30 minutes. Steady stream of customers for the time i was there. No nonsense. Quick work. They get your tire needs taken care of. I appreciate their hard work. I would recommend this business.”

Story Time:
I have previously gone to Costco off of Dallas Parkway to tried to get my tires rotated on Friday 7/19 but during the visit, my wheel lock key broke; so I was told to go to my dealership to either get another wheel lock key or get my wheel lock removed and changed the lug nuts.
I revisited Plano Costco Sunday (7/21) after replacing my wheel lock keys. My wheel lock key got broken again. Javi was the one who checked me in and Ernesto was the one who spoke with me about the situation. He told me that because it continued to happened, they believe whoever serviced the car last torqued it on too tightly and asked me to go to them to get reimbursement for my multiple wheel lock key purchases & my wheel lock removal when I go get my tires rotated. Ernesto said that they will connect with the Lewisville tire center to notify them.
When I came in on Monday. Ivan had no idea and found it unfair that they are responsible for a mishap from another shop (which I completely understand) so I called Plano tire center to ask them if I can go back to them to get reimbursed. When I spoke with John on the phone on Monday 7/22. He said that they would only reimbursed me half since they “didn’t do it on purpose”, to which I found it silly, I sure hope yall didn’t make me made multiple trips on purpose. He was only taking half responsibility. It was like taking care of a customer half way… It wasn’t about the monetary value that was important; it was the customer care.
Thankfully Ivan and J and team helped me out so I wouldn’t have to go get my 1/2 reimbursement from Plano (& make another trip?)”
