This mall makes me sad. It used to be a normal mall, and it's been dying a slow death for several years now. I went in search of Hot Topic to shop for a gift and should have checked to confirm it was still there. It is not. The Cinemark is still there - probably one of the few reasons the mall still has anyone go there. There's a toy store that I enjoy going to for Christmas or birthday shopping. Just a good old-school toy store. Most of the department stores are gone but not all. Just make sure whichever store you're going for is still there and hasn't closed at this location before you go. Or just head to Grapevine Mills or Stonebriar for a mall experience that still delivers. Poor old Music City Mall, aka Vista Ridge. RIP.

I first want to clarify that I RARELY have a negative experience with workers at stores/restaurants/malls, let alone write an online review. Many, I get along very well with and some I am friends with. Due to an emergency, I occupied the restroom too long, only for the custodian to angrily shout at me that he needs to clean it (understandably, he needs to maintain it, but he could have used a more polite approach to alert me to his presence). I profusely apologized for tying it up but it made no difference and he groaned in a frustrated voice. Don't get me wrong, the Vista (previously known as Vista Ridge Mall) used to be a great place to eat, walk, and shop, so I honestly feel awful having to write this review. I would agree with the previous reviewer (the one mentioning kids being forcibly removed from the play area) that the staff need to treat customers better so we return. Needless to say, I am never coming back here after this unpleasant experience. I write this to save others from going through a similar situation. We are all humans and have a right to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of the mall's current state of affairs.

they have gone down hell they had two of there security guards come and take the kids out of the play area although the carpets were 100% dry you would think with a dying mall they would want people to come back into the mall but instead were treated very nasty nice to see how the new owners run the place

First and foremost, please take care of your flag out front. It looks like a post apocalyptic outpost. Please consider following the flag code, "The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning." When I visited last we counted open storefronts and came to about 40% occupied. Some include strange wholesale locations, and storage. Most of the food court is closed. There are kiosks with very bored looking shop keeps. There are also aesthetics to the mall itself that are odd or out of place. There are a number of references to music, and there are musical acts that play throughout the day. Generally this is a person with a guitar playing to an empty space. Those left feel compelled to not make eye contact and scurry away. There are also Christian religious monuments throughout, which seems like an odd place to evangelize. The Zion Market area is interesting, I do use the grocery and some of the food stalls periodically. There is a nice Korean BBQ place attached and frankly, there's nothing wrong with the movie theater attached to the opposite end of the mall. Unless you intend on seeing a movie or getting Korean BBQ / groceries, there's no reason to go to Music City Mall.

Driving down 35 there's a large flag of the United States of America torn, at Music City Mall. Apparently they don't have common sense enough to remove the flag. This flag needs to be removed and retired. Apparently the new owners don't care. Please retire the US Flag.

This mall is quite run down. When I moved down here and was looking for furniture I came through the mall. It was like a throw back to the early 2000s. It apparently was a very nice and popular mall, but has since been taken over by Korean stores and vendors. If you're into anime and that stuff then you should definitely visit! Besides the AMAZING pizza place in this mall there are no 'normal' food options that you'd expect to see

Only redeeming store was the Cat Corner and Dillards Clerance. I would say that 70% (if not more) of the store was empty/vacant/up for lease. I went in thinking it would be slow, as it was a Tuesday afternoon, but was not expecting it to be completely dead- I'm talking apocalyptic. And for a mall that is named "Music City Mall," there was no music at all- not over the intercoms, and especially no live performers.

We have recently gone to this mall twice in the last few days. I took my granddaughter today so we would have something fun to do during the rain...well, almost ALL of the stores were closed and it was 1:00 in the afternoon. The toy store that she was begging to go in was closed with a sign that said it would open at 3:00. I understand there's not a ton of traffic in the mall, but I'm pretty sure A LOT of the reason is because people go and there's nothing open, so they don't go back. The vendors are killing their own business. If I owned this mall, it would be mandatory that EVERY leasing store be open by 10:00.

I remember this mall when it was "vista ridge mall" back in prime days. I wish it was the same but all great things come to an end eventually. I come here and walk around to reminisce the golden era of this place but now it's a good place to sit and study and chill if you like music especially if your into pianos. Wish the stores were still here and wish it was lively as it use to be back in the 90s and early 2000s but oh well. If you like hearing peaceful music and chill vibes this is the place for you! Not the same but still this place is coo!

I like that I can walk my dog here during this crazy heat we're having. I can take him inside Dillard's. I haven't asked any of the other stores yet. But I bet a lot of them will. I plan to go again. There aren't a lot of stores open. The that are open are nice. There are sales going one to get people in. The items being sold are worth buying!! I recommend going here to get some exercise, look around, and go inside the stores. There will be going back to school sales going on real soon! Dillard's Clearance is a great place to find steals. I found a Calvin Klein suede work dress normally $120 for $20!!! Nothing wrong with it I could see. Oh! The shoes there!!! Fill up your closet with steals here!! I have. No, I don't work here. I just walk my dog here and spend my money here on good deals. My dog loves the attention

This mall is great if you are looking for indoor entertainment and value. The cat cafe really makes this shopping center stand out.

There's only like 3 restaurants choices and not many stores maybe only 3 stores that are worth shopping. This mall use to be alive, now it's just empty and dead

Came to walk around and see if anything was left. Yes it's rained but the entrance was hazardous and the automatic door opener didn't work. I have no access to the mall.

Only 3 open food places. No decent shoe stores. There was a guy singing on the guitar on the stage which was pretty cool. But the place was pretty run down. Plenty of parking though!
