Called to see if I could get a inspection sticker right quick as I was in area. They said they. Were a a little busy but would try to get it within 1 hour. 30 min later they were done. Very friendly and helpful as well. I will be planning on going back for any Automotive repair of service.

I am blown away. This is the first auto shop I've ever been to that I felt I could trust fully. I brought my car here for a second opinion and they were HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper than the quote I got from another mechanic I used to use in Denton. The customer service and communication I received was outstanding. The people here actually care. I cannot recommend Lakeshore enough.

Shout-out to Terrance at Lakeshore Automotive. My first visit here this afternoon to have tires checked after warning light came on for low pressure. Terrance was so pleasant, graciously answered my questions, and quickly had me road-ready.Many thanks.

Outstanding service!!! Based on recommendations, I contacted Lakeshore Automotive to have my 2018 GMC Sierra AC condenser replaced. When I called, they had a date open that was convenient. I dropped the vehicle off, they provided a loaner so I could get to work, and before the end of the day the repair was completed. They have lived up to their reputation and I know I will be a repeat customer. Well worth the drive to their location.

Mike was great the whole time with his communication. It cost me half of what it would have to fix my car at another location. We will be customers for life. 5 Stars PlusThank you for the great service.

Great customer service! They did not try to take advantage of me in any way which says a lot. I took my 15-year-old new to me car in and the car got a clean bill of health. They did the oil change and rotated the tires and sent me on my way. I will continue coming back and I have sent other people their way as well.

This shop invited me to give a review. I went there because it’s close to home. They have a shuttle, which is a plus. I got a PVC valve replaced and it cost about $560, which I now notice is $200 more than Kelley Blue Book estimates it should cost. I drove away and a cover thing started dragging on the ground, but I went right back. They reattached it even though it was closing time. They said if it didn’t stay I could just remove it because it didn’t have a purpose anyway. The counter guy was ultra energetic. The waiting room was clean. I needed a brake repair too but went back to my regular mechanic who’s kind of far away but always gives me a fair price.

Professional staff! Owner is so personable and honest! Check this out, oil change pricing full synthetic is forty dollars and they rotate the tires at time of oil change. I highly recommend taking your car in for anything! Thank you Lakeshore Automotive. I’ll definitely be back!

I have really debated whether to leave a review or not. But after doing some work on my truck myself, and finding some less than great work, I've decided to write it all out. Bear with me, this will be a longer one. I have an older truck, it's a 99 GMC Yukon. It's not the cleanest nor is it the best running, so maybe the truck gives the impression that I don't care. I took it in because it's been having problems getting started, and it's been persistent. The truck didn't start on the first crank, but would usually start on the second one. It was starting to become more unreliable though. They're not the first shop that I've taken it to for start issues. After reading the reviews, I thought maybe they might get further than previous mechanics. I dropped it off and they did provide a loaner car. They told me that it was going to be about $160 for diagnostic. I was willing to pay that to have a certified mechanic look at it and hopefully get the issue fixed. They had it for a full day and I called to check on it. They told me that it needed a new battery (the battery I had in it was under warranty and they would work with O'Reilly's to get the replacement) and that the battery terminal connectors needed to be replaced because they were loose. Honestly, I'm mad at myself for not replacing it before going to a shop, but I agreed to have it replaced. The connectors are $10 at O'Reilly's. With the diagnostic, the labor to replace the battery and the parts and labor to replace the connectors, the total price was about $280. $280 to replace a part that costs $10. Now, the reason I've debated leaving a review is because I agreed to pay the $280. They've got experience, specialty tools and a loaner car and all of that goes into the price you pay for work. That's fine, especially if the problem is solved. But I admit I didn't like the price but I also didn't want to do the work myself. I was thinking that I'd add in another part and maybe I wouldn't be as mad. So I asked how much it would cost to replace the serpentine belt -$180, I said no thank you. I was thinking, well this is an expensive lesson for me about using my own labor, but as long as the truck starts, it's worth it. I go pick it up, they're telling me it's starting on the first crank and I'm good to go. I get in the truck and go to start it, and it starts, but I can tell it's still not back to normal. It did start on the first crank for about a week. And then we have to crank it first then crank it again for it to start. And then it started to get unreliable again. I went to get the battery, alternator and starter tested at O'Reilly's and they're all good. I honestly wanted to avoid taking it to the shop again, because it felt like such a huge markup. I decided to check the wire myself. And disconnected them from the battery. I wish I had taken pictures, because the wire coming from the alternator to the battery looked terrible. It was not placed into the battery connection they had replaced very well at all, it was barely connected and the wires were thinned out and corroded. After seeing that, I was especially disappointed in the work that was done. It felt like minimal effort was made to make sure the connection was good on the new connectors. The wire from the alternator had a loop in it, so I cut the wire back and stripped it to get a new wire surface and reattached the wires to the connector. It took me 15 minutes with my home toolkit. I don't feel like it was unreasonable to expect that the work that they did be nicely done. I don't expect more than what I paid for, I hope, but I would at a minimum expect that the wires get connected well. Also, I know there's a fair amount of guessing what the culprit is, so it's normal to start with the least expensive and least disruptive and work your way up. But if this was the charge for the first look and repair, I really hate to think what the charge would ha

Lakeshore Automotive and its predecessor have been servicing my and my family's vehicles for 30 years. They have been consistent and reliable in their quality of service and communication. My most recent repairs and preventative maintenance were in preparation for a spring road trip to Pensacola and my Cruze has driven smoothly and safely throughout the duration of that trip and the months afterward. Steve and the rest of the crew provide a thoroughly friendly front desk experience and are more than informative about the issues they find and will elaborate on their conclusions as asked. They will take good care of you and your vehicle.Services: Tires

Subpar service and not enough mechanics!Took multiple vehicles for AC work and what they told us was wrong with one vehicle ended up not being true. The work preformed on the other one lasted only until I got home. They charged for AC service when they knew it wouldn’t hold a vacuum but stated it was repaired so they could bill me. So glad we took the vehicles to Caliber Auto Care. I would highly recommend them! Stay away from this place if you need AC or major work done they might able to change oil or do state inspections just fine.

An Exceptional Experience at Lakeshore Automotive: A Safe Haven for Car OwnersOur visit to Lakeshore Automotive was nothing short of fantastic, and one aspect that truly stood out was their dedication to sharing knowledge with customers, all free of charge. Coming from the East Coast and being unfamiliar with the area, I was particularly concerned about finding a reliable and secure place for my car. However, the team at Lakeshore Automotive made sure to create a safe space for me to learn, even if I lacked prior experience in working on cars. Their patient approach and willingness to teach left me feeling comfortable and supported. From now on, I'll be bringing all my business their way and confidently trusting them with my vehicle needs.
