course is ok it’s fun till it’s not, first off the Marshall/guy he rides around with are disrespectful. Wont be coming back here paid 200$ for golf to get harassed 3 times, our property searched and in the end one of my buddys got sick of it and just left the course. We have golfed multiple courses across north Texas/ Dfw metroplex and have never experienced such a terrible experience.

Minding our own business on hole 5. Here comes Paul Blart the golf course detective. Purchased my own beverages from the clubhouse comes and pats my bag down to see if I was hiding any forbidden cocktails. I forgot to add we were 2:30 hrs in at hole 5. They need to worry about the pace of play rather than searching carts for beer. Will never return nor should anyone go to this terrible golf-course.

Did a pat down on my bag searching for beers to take from me. Terrible course.

great 18 hole course for $37, very forgiving, highly recommend for those ready to move on from that 9 hole par 3 course across the street. only complaint i have is the greens are a bit patchy, (i get it though, it’s tx weather it’s harder to maintain landscape in the summers) but where can you go for 18 holes for that price and that’s in better shape than those that charge $60+.

Fun course. Tried hard not to hit the trains.

Kennedy was phenomenal. She had a 6th sense of knowing where we were on the course and when we would need another beverage. She went out of her way to make sure everyone on the course was taken care of and kept her cart stocked with what everyone needed. Beyond a 5 star rating because of her service!

Tee time was delayed over 30 minutes, range was closed, and pace of play was terrible. Then the “player assistant” had the nerve to drive up and frisk our bags for alcohol mid round. Joke course for kids, avoid at all costs

For a low handicap golfer, this is not a course you want to be at. Its a very easy track with little to no trouble and attracts a lot of first time golfers. Pace of play was terrible, stray balls coming at you from every hole and the clientele this course attracts is a nightmare. Saw a golfer full swing a wedge on a green and took a decent size divot from the middle of the green. No marshals to be found on the course. Course is in good shape, fairways are nice and greens roll true.

The course is in good shape, but the pace of play is terrible. Management is in no way concerned. It took almost 3 hours to play 9. As we pulled up to the 10th hole, there were 3 groups in front of us. We had to stop. Almost asked for my money back.

I love playing at Lake Park. It’s a forgiving course anyone can play. It still has some challenging shots and a signature par 4 over the lake to the fairway. The course is quality for the price. Great for beginners or even a scratch golfer looking to feel a bit more free to work on some things in the course

I will start out with cons: Booked a tee time here because it was relatively cheap and had some decent reviews. The pace of play was horrible. There were up to 10 golfers waiting on a tee box at a given time. In addition to it being a 5.5 hour round, our cart was hit by stray tee shots twice. This is the kind of course that attracts first timers, which is great for the game but can be frustrating to play behind. I don’t think I saw a golfer that was above the age of 20. Poorly ran and zero on course management. Also note that their cart fee is separate from the tee time.
Pros: fairways and greens are in pretty good condition. Very little water and trees makes for a pretty casual course, which on paper, should lead to fast pace of play (was not the case). Range is solid and has plenty of bays.
My group and I decided that we will not be back based on our experience. I would recommend spending $20 more and playing a proper course.

For the price it’s a nice course, but on a Wednesday at noon they had a Marshall out verifying tee times. Awesome! I stopped after 9 holes because the pace of play was so slow. What’s the point of having a Marshall if I’m waiting for 19 minutes to tee off at each hole? It wasn’t even the group in front of us that was the issue. Two groups of 4 in front of the group ahead of us were taking so long on each hole. Again, the marshall is only on hole 1 so there’s no one pushing the groups to flow a little better. Would be nice to be able to flow and not get frustrated waiting at every hole for an ungodly amount of time.

Course is currently in great shape and the greens are rolling well. Pace of play is good. Worth the money!
