Always very helpful workers but VERY slow checkout process. The lady at checkout was so nice, but she was only one working the front. There were 7 people in line, and this is the type store where there are lots of questions at checkout regarding coupons and multiple items. Took me 25 minutes to pay for one item. Frustrated customers in line. They need to pull people for these busy times.

Best customer service over here at the Lewisville store. Kira was very nice and helpful with my purchase. Just finishing up with her previous customer she actually came running to me to greet me because she saw that I couldn’t find anyone. The smile and willingness to want to help me immediately has earned a customer over here. Thank you Kira that made my evening! And thank you Joann for having the product that I needed!

I came in the store today to ask about classes and the possibility of renting in store time on a machine. No one was available or willing to help me so i just called while in store. The store associate Johnathan said that he didn’t have the information and would transfer me to the manager Laura. As i stood near the cutting counter waiting on here to answer she answered the phone with an attitude “WHAT DO YOU NEED!?” I asked her my question to which she replied with further irritated attitude We don’t have machine rentals or classes. I told her i didn’t appreciate the way she was talking to me to which she said she had a long line of customers. I was watching her talk to me from the cutting counter SHE DIDNT HAVE A LINE! And there was a class in progress (i didn’t want to interrupt their session with my question) this was BLATANT RACISM AND UNPROFESSIONALISM.

The little cashier that was working today had a terrible attitude and the old hag at the at the cut bar had an even worse attitude they need better employees I really enjoyed the store until I started talking to the employees.

I walked and asked Leslie for help. She walked over with me to find my item. I had the honor of her checking me out. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Leslie!

I have a small business and I shop Joann’s frequently. As of late I have just noticed a complete lack of regard for quality of work. I am constantly returning online pickup’s because of dirty or flawed fabrics. I frequently have orders canceled but when I come in to the store to check stock the item is sitting on the shelf. I recently ordered 5 yards of SF101 however when I got home I only received 4 yards and 27”. Not to mention it was chopped into 2 pieces. If I have a larger item and need a bigger piece I now have to cut into a new piece. Why wasn’t I called? Was I reimbursed for the shortage? Could someone have let me know when I picked it up. When I called Elizabeth was ZERO help “you can return it” gee I would love to waste my gas driving back AGAIN! No, “hey I’m gonna get a manager so this doesn’t happen again.” It’s past frustrating especially for a loyal customer.

I asked an African American lady who was behind the cutting table for help finding heavy weight interfacing. I told her all I could find on the shelf were light-weight and mid weight but I had checked online and made sure that they had it in stock before I had come to the store. She was very rude and had no interest in helping me. Even though I had a light-weight interfacing that I had taken from the shelf so I could show her what I was looking for, she acted like that didn't help her look for what I was looking for. In fact, she didn't to try look it up. She just said "what's the item number?" " I can't find it if you don't have the item number!" She looked very annoyed was almost yelling. I was stunned by how she was treating me and degrading me. I didn't say a word, and just walked away because what's the point? And, I left the store.

This Joann fabric is absolutely amazing. It’s a beautiful store and I hope more stores get remodeled this way soon. It has so many amazing features that the older stores don’t have to offer.

AS SOON AS we walked to the door at 5:51pm we were greeted with a older “blonde/grey” haired woman with glasses racing to the door yelling “we are closing!” before we even stepped foot in the door. We did not even walk in but instead we were only looking at the open hours and were planning to come another time but Mrs unprofessional made sure to make her presence known before we could even turn around. We planned to say this as we saw her rushing to the door but god forbid she allows a new customer to get a word in. Instead she could have kindly made us aware they were closing in 6 minutes to which I would have told her we planned to visit another time after noticing the store was closing soon. I will never visit this store. Say you hate your job without saying you hate your job. I think it’s time for retirement for this hateful woman.

Better experience after experiencing gossip from register on first visit. A wide selection of fabric. The staff and manager are really knowledgeable and helpful.
