garbage company, was paying $60 a month then shot up to $120 a month! THen the customer service line sucks, can't reach anyone, website is garbage. Just straight trash, avoid this company at all costs.

I’ve been getting frequent internet outages lately. To add insult to injury, calling in for support requires listening to a bunch of unnecessary nonsense for quite some time before you get to anything or anyone helpful. Update: Astound has reached out to me and has offered to work on the issue. I'm going to change the review for now until this work is done as they are making an effort to resolve it.

No type of notification when the area was having an outage. Had to call and give them all my account info to have them tell me that. Then it took 10 hours to come back up. Two days later the wifi goes out and needs a tech to come look which they said will come two days later.

Worst customer service ever. You only talk to a computer 99.8% of the time. Outages all the time with HOURS with out repair. Do not recommend.---EDIT 020824.. NOTICED EVER SINCE I PUT THIS REVIEW, MY SERVICE HAS GOTTEN WORSE!! ???

It is ASTOUNDING how bad the internet service is with Astound. There are constant outages. We’ve had 5 outages this week anywhere from 2 to 12 hours. You would think this would get you a discount on your bill for all the days in the week you are paying for internet and don’t actually have any. I have to have internet for work. Will be switching service providers asap. Giving one star because 0 stars isn’t an option.

Aside from the installer, everything else has been a gross misrepresentation regarding monthly charges and initial one time fees. I have been lied to and there is no one in your customer service department who could explain the inflated bill and the difference in what I was expecting vs. your first monthly bill that is $50. + dollars higher than my work order called for. I'm very disappointed and am considering switching to another company as soon as possible.

Worst service. In a month second outage. Normally service outages for any providers will address soon. These guys outages are minimum 6 hours. Looks like this time its more than 24 hours, till they are not able to resolve it. I am not sure whether you guys are in serious business.

The customer service is just awful. While service is on and everything goes right, Internet is great. The moment a problem happens, you can’t expect reliable timelines or communication on a fix.

Outage outage outages! Today’s projected to last 5 hrs! When we rely heavily on internet connection for work, finances, communication, smart home integration, we need a RELIABLE provider. Not happy with outages!

It's a bate and switch scam. The low price they advertise has lots of fine print. Will cost as much as other services. Internet is constantly down. When you call Astound to report the outage they waste your time by advertising other services. Do not recommend.

2nd internet outage this month. Today's outage now projected to be about 12 HOURS!!! What kind of unreliability is that??? Would NOT recommend this provider.

Buyer beware. Astound will raise their rates without notifying their customers and even bill them after disconnection.

Doing business with them is a joke. The prices change without notice and they literally charge you for non sense. Trash customer service. The price advertised on their website is an absolute lie, please don't fall for it. Super sketchy business. Shame on you Astound.

I origanally gave a 5 star review, Everyone that I have spoke with have been nice. My issue is that all of my neighbors have higher internet speed than i do, I ask to upgrade but they only offer higher speeds to new customers.... Im willing to pay what they are paying for higher speed but they wont even give me that option.
