I have been reporting for a week that the bathroom tub is clogged every day I am calling to report it and they simply do not put the order in and they do not care to send maintenance to repair things, if you want to live in peace I do not recommend this place stay away from here..

I’m not happy that Crest Manor can charge you 10$ extra every month for a postal box that does not work, my packages comes to my front door every week and I like it that way the dumb box’s doesn’t work, everything is about money and if they go up on my rent at renewal time I will be relocating.and the water pressure is horrible and carpet is very outdated.

It's currently 79 degrees inside my apartment while its 76 degrees outside. This will be the 6th time in 4 months my air conditioning has been "fixed". The women in the front office have a nasty attitudes and are rude and see no urgency in sending maintenance out to fix the air again. I've been having to live and to sleep with ice packs on my body, and I still was sweating through my clothing. What's insane is I i've only been living here since June. So the entire summer Ive haven't had air and they are doing absolutely nothing to fix it. I've been to the front office countless times and sent in countless maintenance request with no luck. Ive been sweating in an apartment I've been paying rent on time. Once you sign your lease you are left hanging, they are no longer kind people. The supervisor name is Natasha Harris and she does nothing but sit in her office and do nothing. I've asked to speak to her and she refused to come out her office. Do not even consider this place even if it's an emergency you will regret it. This is also my second review my first on was taken down.

It's currently 11;34pm pm on 9/14/2024. I live on the first floor and it's currently 80 degrees inside my home while its 82 degrees outside. I've been living here since June of this year. Crest Manor Apartments are disorganized and do not communicate effectively internally or externally. My move-in day was delayed because the manager didn't know I was moving in; never mind, I had been working with one of their employees for two months prior and sent all my necessary documents; coincidentally, on move-in day, all records had been "misplaced." Next, let's discuss the many maintenance issues I've had in the short four months I've lived here. Our dishwasher wasn't spraying; a maintenance employee of Crest Manor told us that's normal because they have low water pressure and that everyone's dishwashers don't work. Why would you advertise dishwashers as an amenity, but they're not functional? Next, we move to fix the air; again, it's currently 80 degrees in my home, and not because I like it that way. Maintenance has been in my home 5 times to repair my air and thermostat and its still not working. It's the middle of summer in Texas and my air hasn't ran properly for more than a week. Maintenance men have zero respect for your living spaces. They make a mess once they come in, and it's up to you to clean up after them. It took the two months to "fix" the air conditioner, and I've only been living here for three months. They just "fixed it" seven days ago, and now it's broken again, and the furnace is leaking in my shower now.
I didn't move in with roaches, but somehow, I now have roaches. I asked a Crest Manor employee to send pest control; over 3 weeks ago. Pest control came at 5 pm and told us he couldn't spray because we would need to vacate the apartment for 4 hrs so it could air out. The was not communicated with us when pest control was requested. Crest Manor never warned us of the protocol. Now it's 3 weeks later and I still see roaches and they pest control is nowwhere to be found. I asked Maintenance to change my filter due to an increase in asthma symptoms since moving in. I watched the Maintenance employee of Crest manor pretend to change the filter and try to leave, and when I said wait, you didn't change it; he apparently couldn't speak English and left.
4 months in and my filter still hasn't been changed. Now, let's move on to parking; they have paid and unpaid. But recently they significantly reduced the amount of free parking, forcing you to either park considerably further from your home and walk or pay for covered parking. If your apartment is in certain areas, you won't find parking at all unless you park on the other side of the complex. If you have an unexpected visitor that stays longer than 2 hrs their car will be towed. All gates remain unlocked so peoples cars have been broken into and stolen. Next is Crest Manor staff's overall lack of professionalism and attention to detail. When you go into the office to speak to an employee, everyone either doesn't speak English or is completely lost, has no idea what's going on, and refuses to speak. Lastly, they created an Amazon parcel system in which every tenant is charged $10 free. I've been here four months, and not once has Amazon delivered to this specialized parcel system for which I'm being charged. And when I asked about it, they said they couldn't force Amazon drivers to use the system. They charge tenets when they don't even have an enforceable contract with Amazon. All of my packages still come to my door, as well as my neighbor's door. This sounds and feels like theft. If you don't have laundry, don't try to do it on-site; something is always broken.
All in all, I wish I could give this place a zero. Don't waste your time touring it. I will personally help you find a better apartment complex.

I’m going to apologize for writing this lengthy review, but I have been waiting months to write it. First, I would like to say that if I COULD GIVE THEM A -100, NO STARS, OR ANYTHING AS A RATING I WOULD. Two years in a row we have had our apartment flooded due to THEIR MISHANDLING OF THE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS DURING THE WINTER SEASON. We first experienced this December 26th, 2022, and the second time was January 16th, 2024 (as listed in the photos). I assumed since this had happened the year before they would have better prepared for it not to happen again. They DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP US!!!! Matter of fact they didn’t even call the first time to let me know damage had happened, I was away for Christmas and came back to all my things wet, I mean I get that they only seem to communicate through email, but that was a time to actually pick up the phone and let someone know this had happened (how I found out was I got in my bed and it was soaked)!!!!! The first time they hung up in our face when we asked what to do about our living arrangements and damage to our valuables, they stated, “contact your renter insurance, that’s what they are for and hung up”. The CARPET WAS NOT CLEANED OR REPLACED, it was MOLD IN THE APARTMENT THAT WAS MAKING ME SICK, THAT’S HOW I FOUND THE MOLD TO BEGIN WITH (as pictured), they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THAT BUT PAINT OVER IT( they cut a hole in the storage closet outside on the balcony put a small fan there for two days, removed the fan, and left the hole in the wall, it’s still there? as of today 6-20-2024)!!!! They told us they would not investigate anymore and that we would be okay. Of course, the insurance tried to do as little as possible to help us. We were only able to get enough to replace our bed frame and buy a cheaper mattress (again the damage came from THE APT SPRINKLER SYSTEM)!!! So again no one followed up with us about fixing the walls or the water damage or replacing the carpet or moving us temporarily to fix the problems (again this is all from the first time). So, let us fast forward to January 16th, 2024, boom at work yet again not at the house and we receive yet another email no phone call that AGAIN THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM FOR THE APARTMENT COMPLEX FLOODED OUT THE APARTMENT YET AGAIN (the sprinkler systems bust each time this happened). So now we have double the damage, I asked a black lady that came to the apartment because I asked one of maintenance workers when they were going to fix our apartment, he just said he did not know and left, and she showed up. When she was here I told her it smelled so bad (it smelled like when you wash clothes and leave them in the washer for a couple of days and then dry them, yeah that smell….I told her then that I wanted the carpet REPLACED SINCE THIS WAS NOW THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED, her response was “NO WE CAN’T REPLACE IT, I MIGHT CAN SEE IF WE CAN CLEAN IT, BUT I WILL HAVE TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER” that was back in February and till this day 6/20/2024 I still haven’t heard from anyone about the carpet, oh and it was a guy with her and when I was talking about the smell he stated we don’t need to change the carpet, the smell will go away in a few days. We had to live on an air mattress for 6 weeks because before we got to the apartment, they moved our mattress outside which froze and did not thaw for weeks because it was below freezing temperatures. I asked the lady that day she came when the damage would be repaired, she stated, “she didn’t know because whoever they are contracted with to inspect damage and do repairs, they were so behind with other complexes that she didn’t know when or if they would be able to get to us. So again, here we are 6/20/2024 still living with peeling walls, mold, silverfish (which eat at our clothes in the dirty clothes basket, they like moist damp moldy areas, go figure). The only thing the apartment did was give us a $50 gift card to a food chain, YES $50 GIFT CARD FOR SOME F******* FOOD FOR DAMAGES WORTH THOUSANDS!!!! I HAVE TO MAKE 2 OR 3 POST BECAUSE THEY LIMIT YOUR CHARACTER

Horrible apartments, my mom’s car got towed from the parking spot that she pays for monthly. They swear they sent out an email saying cars without the sticker can’t park where her car was parked . Again the parking spot my mom pays for monthly and been paying for, for years and they towed my mom never received that email on top of that there isn’t enough parking in this apartment and they expect my mom not to park her car where she pays ? $350 down the drain because they weren’t gonna pay for it on top of that my mom has seizures and we got done paying for her medicine. But I understand why so many people leave these apartments horrible management. I seem to see new neighbors every month. I’m surprised we’ve stayed this long they were good apartments but now it’s not even worth wasting money on it. On top of it workers looking through or mail box we have near our door. On top of that if someone parks in our parking spot that we pay for we tell them & they say write a note !(: yall couldn’t write a note for our car ? But just tow it ?! Nothing surprises me anymore with this damn apartment’s.

Starting off, I would give this 0 starts but it is not an option. Since when are they not taking work social/permit & Employment Authorization ID? My cousin that was there is being asked for 2 months rent deposit.. this is making his deposit just to move in close to $5,000!!! This is Crazy! Discriminatory as well!.. Seems like they have new management, Last year I took my brother there and he got approved with his work social/permit and employment authorization ID. Not sure what the rules are here but not cool... Other apartments that we have been are not charging extra months just because he has a work visa... I’ve been an almost 5 year resident here at Crest Manor. My experience here I can say, has been not so satisfying starting from the office management always changing. Seems like there’s a new manager every year. Maintenance have done a very poor job on their services. Recently I’ve had a problem with my hot water running out quickly since December till now, they came in and turned my thermostat on water heater all the way up that caused me to have two $300 electricity, bills, and the manager and their team, which is their owners refused to pay any monies on my electricity bill. After I brought my electricity bills to their attention, they sent maintenance to come in and turn down the thermostat on my water heater. A few days later, I was still having problems with my hot water running out quickly, so they came back out the following week to come change out the water heater thermostat. It’s been going on two weeks now and I still run out of hot water quickly in the showers. I have sent emails with this issue and I have yet heard from anyone through email or a phone call. I also disputed their decision on not helping with my high electricity bills, and I have not heard from the owners. These apartments don’t get inspected but once two years for smoke detectors. Not to mention the poor quality of the windows that get moisture in the cold with a lot of humidity. BEWARE THESE PEOPLE DONT CARE ABOUT THERE RESIDENTS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY COMING IN !!
