Worst Customer service. I will say never buy the tires in Costco. I bought 4 tires Bridgestone from them with 80k warranty 2 years back. All the tires are already worn out and all the car service center & tire centers gave warning saying tires needed to be replaced. 1 of the tire air goes down every few days. But when I take it to Costco they say it is still up to the allowed limit and drivable. These people are really scam with their warranty and not worried about risk involved in driving these tires. Planning now to go to outside tire center and not to Costco anymore.

Outstanding customer service. Ivan and J was very helpful and professional & took care of my car and a sticky situation for me.
Story Time:
I have previously gone to Costco off of Dallas Parkway to tried to get my tires rotated on Friday 7/19 but during the visit, my wheel lock key broke; so I was told to go to my dealership to either get another wheel lock key or get my wheel lock removed and changed the lug nuts.
I revisited Plano Costco Sunday (7/21) after replacing my wheel lock keys. My wheel lock key got broken again. Javi was the one who checked me in and Ernesto was the one who spoke with me about the situation. He told me that because it continued to happened, they believe whoever serviced the car last torqued it on too tightly and asked me to go to them to get reimbursement for my multiple wheel lock key purchases & my wheel lock removal when I go get my tires rotated. Ernesto said that they will connect with the Lewisville tire center to notify them.
When I came in on Monday. Ivan had no idea and found it unfair that they are responsible for a mishap from another shop (which I completely understand) so I called Plano tire center to ask them if I can go back to them to get reimbursed. When I spoke with John on the phone on Monday 7/22. He said that they would only reimbursed me half since they “didn’t do it on purpose”, to which I found it silly, I sure hope yall didn’t make me made multiple trips on purpose. He was only taking half responsibility. It was like taking care of a customer half way… It wasn’t about the monetary value that was important; it was the customer care.
Thankfully Ivan and J and team helped me out so I wouldn’t have to go get my 1/2 reimbursement from Plano (& make another trip?)

I had all my TPM sensors changed at Costco since two were out. Somehow the IDs of the TPM sensors were off with what was programmed into the car. Three times Costco didn’t catch it but one time Texas Nissan Service didn’t catch it either. Texas Nissan Service charged me $189.95 to do it also. They quoted me $700 and change to change the TPM sensors to OEM. Costco finally fixed it but should have refunded my money as was agreed two days before.

The white beard guy with condescending tone is absolutely not necessary when people ask you for simple help. My tire wasn’t flat, just mis-operated inflator which caused low PSI. Instead he directed you to scan QR code and watch video and make an appointment to check flat tire. One bald guy took ownership and helped me inflate that one tire and it took less than 2 minutes. Keep up the good work and improve customer service or retrain some of your technician. Ive always purchased my tires from Costco. The past few experiences with this store will definitely turn me away.

Prices and service are what you'd expect from Costco - excellent value and generally efficient. However, be prepared for a bit of a walk through a crowd to get to the tire center counter. They've changed the entry process, and you now have to enter through the main entrance and walk all the way around to the exit to reach the service desk. Not the most convenient, but the prices and service make up for the minor inconvenience.

Worst customer service. I purchased all four tires with road hazard warranty. But when I got a nail in my tire, they easily came up with an excuse to deny my warranty and tried to charge me for the nail damage. The lucky thing is I usually have air check in Discount tire and get to know Discount tire offers free tire repair of such nail damage regardless of where the tires are purchased. So I went to discount tire, they have my tire fixed for free. Costco doesn’t care for your tires, go to Discount tire where a great price and service are provided.

Purchased a car battery for my daughter's car. I entered Costco through the regular entrance and had to walk all the way around as the tire center is literally right next to the store exit. Employee was helpful and quick to get me the battery I needed and I had a core exchange in my car. So I went out to get the core and bring it back in and decided to go through the exit vs walking through the entrance and all the way around. Kid at the exit tried to stop me (while carrying a car battery) to tell me to go all the way around. Explained I have a heavy car battery and the car center is right here and he followed me all the way to the car center trying to stop me. Finally as I got to the car center he said well next time you have to walk around. Yeah no!

They are always busy and I strongly suggest an appointment, but even then the wait seems long. Gotta love the nitrogen!

These guys are great! We buy all our tires and batteries and have all repairs done at the Costco Lewisville tire center. The guys are fast, efficient and knowledgeable. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

These folks are amazing! I can in with a nail in my tire at 8pm and they had me out the door by 8:25pm with a repaired tire.They could have easily turned me away being so close to closing time but they helped!Thank you Ryan and Antonio!

Not worth the aggravation and non-existent customer service to save a few bucks. Discount Tire price matches Costco anyway, including the free install offers. Reading other reviews here, it is clearly evident that the tire center at Costco is gravely mismanaged or, not managed at all to Costco’s standards.

I must say, absolutely the most rude employee Austin. These guys think they can be rude because you have a membership card. Do yourself a favor, skip doing tires at Costco. They don’t know tires.
