My wife and I just purchased a vehicle from Gary Charlton Motors. It is quite a long drive for us to Lewisville, but it was worth it. The experience was top notch. We bought the car we were looking for at a price that I agreed was fair,There were no high-pressure salesman, just folks wanting to do business. Gary introduced us to the vehicles but let me do my thing while I checked them out. He answered my questions quickly and honestly.There was only one mechanical problem with the vehicle we purchased, but Sergio, Gary's service manager, wouldn't let us drive it home until he took care of that for us. We had to wait a couple of days to pick it up after purchasing, and since we had traded in our one and only vehicle during this purchase, Gary took care of us with a loaner until Sergio got done. I wouldn't expect either of those classy moves from another dealership that's not one of those flashy 300% markup lots.Well done, Gary and Sergio, and thanks! I meant it when I said I would be back to buy our next vehicles from you.Beware of the traffic jams on I35E during your test drive, though! Fortunately, the car was comfortable and we ended up buying it.

I’ve been trying to reach out to this dealership for months regarding a vehicle I purchased there and can’t get a hold of anyone and when I did speak to someone they said they would call me back and never did... beginning to get very frustrated!

Check Better Business Bureau Profile and look at the complaints and honestest principals. This place is very unprofessional and deserve zero stars, but we have to give 1. This experience happen in Prior to 2020, but it so dramatic that I must post now because I am shocked that they are still in business. And still doing the same thing to people. Their sales guy Brandon, who may be in management position now. Sold me a G6 for 2 grand more than the advertised price and said the bank told him to do it. Car wouldn’t start which he claims was a battery issue and offered to replace as well as forged paperwork to get a deal down. I was young and naive and happy to be in a convertible, so I remained quiet. Until I left the lot and the car’s engine literally blew up on me. I told the bank about the forgery when they call me to verify and if I course the deal didn’t go through. It was towed back to the dealer , who then calls me and ask me to pick out another car. Lol haha. Can't believe The Pair on this guy to suggest i buy another car from them. And he and the owner laughed about it. Stay as far away as possible and say your prayers before going into This demonic dealership.

STAY AWAY! These guys are crooks! Sold me a 2016 Corvette that they said was "Perfect"! This car looked like it had gone off-roading. Under carriage was all torn up, bent wheel and wheel well with excessive damage. I didn't bother going back to the dealer for this damage and just repaired this on my own. Now I have traded the car in and Gary Charlton won't refund the money which is $5021. SCUMBAG! The warranty has been cancelled with EFG Companies and the funds went back to Charlton Motors but they won't call me back or communicate at all. Stay as far away as possible!

I purchased a truck from this dealership at the end of 2015. I decided to write a review now, in 2019, because a few things have always bothered me about the transaction. Here they are. They told me there had been one previous owner, that was true. They told me it was a commuter vehicle, explicitly claiming it was not a work truck. The first time time I washed it, a business logo appeared on the back windows. It can only be seen in certain light, with a thin layer of moisture applied. But, it does seem like it was, in fact, a work truck. Next up, come time around a year after purchase. Paint on hood, bumper and above wheels faded. The paint does not appear to be original on these parts. Lost their shine. I would speculate they aren't even the original parts. I do not know the details, but reviewing the carfax I see the vehicle was partially rebuilt just before the ownership transferred from the original owner to Charlton. But they did not mention that. Did they not know? Or did they just lie to me?. I guess when the dealer tells you something to your face, you have to check the carfax and not trust what they tell you. But I did not know that. I was young and naive (still am maybe). Thirdly, the salesman mentioned he had been driving the vehicle personally prior to the sale. I would rather not know that the salesmen drive around in the vehicles until they are sold. That kind of taints the experience, eh? Fourthly, when going over financials, the salesman asked how I made my money and complimented my salary. Next, he bragged that he, in fact, made more money than I did. Well, good for him. Not quite so professional, huh?

We heard this was a good place to buy a car and it was the complete opposite! This place is the worst place I have ever been to! They have horrible customer service! They promised to fix things on the car that should have been done before we bought it. It never got done! We have only had it a year. We have taken it in to them to get fixed multiple time and nothing ever got done. Now we are having to take it to someone else and finding more things that need to be fixed! Parts of my car were put on incorrectly. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I will go else where for now on.

Best place to buy a quality used car!! The entire staff is helpful from the second you walk in the door. The owner, Gary Charlton was really nice too. I'm so thankful I came to Charlton Motors. I'll never go anywhere else!
