Do not bring your dog here. My mother brought her dog here because he was vomiting. For reasons I never understood, they performed “emergency surgery” on the dog and kept him overnight several days. When my mom and I went to visit the dog, he was in a terrible condition. He walked around in a daze, with tubes attached to him, clearly he was being drugged. He had lost all dignity and lifted his leg and peed right there in front of us in the room. He had a HUGE jagged red scar on his belly with clumsy stitches. It looked like someone had used a butcher knife on him. Also, why would a vomiting dog need surgery??? After spending several nights there, the dog was traumatized when my mom brought him home. His personality changed and it took months for him to recover. This place is EVIL. Something not right. Something very wrong. I would NEVER take my dog here or leave him overnight in their “care.”

So far in the process of getting a diagnosis for our precious pup, Blue Pearl has been awesome! They seem to really care about our pup and the communication is spectacular! They give you as much time as you need to get all your questions answered. I felt no rush when talking to the dr on the phone. They keep you updated on procedures being performed via text, which is great when you are anxious about how your fur baby is faring. I really like that they emailed me office notes and lab/radiology results that were very comprehensive. I have this at my finger tips to take to my vet or ER, if needed. The transparency in which this is presented gives me peace of mind that my sweet fur baby is getting the best care.

We were there 4.5 hours with a pup with a bloody nose. Initial visit from vet ( after an hour) he recommended several high dollar tests. We opted to start with slight sedation to look in our dogs nose prior to Ct and other higher $ tests all at once since the bleeding had stopped. They took our dog to the back and put him in a cage. They had a total of 2 other dogs on the room assignments and one cat in the parking lot. The two girls at the front had no other people to deal with and sat in the front room talking. She told me it wasn’t her job to give updates on what was going on with the dogs in the back.We never saw the vet again and no updates. We finally took our dog and left.A little communication and caring goes a long way and they are lacking in both.

Our eldest dog picked up a cough from her sister. Blue Pearl started taking care of Cali. The Doctor was in surgery so the Nurse had completed the necessary tests. Then Dr. Black came in to examine Cali. With the test test results and examination, Dr Black was able to diagnose pneumonia. We were able to get Cali on antibiotics which have made a big difference. They are very friendly and professional. The costs were very reasonable. I definitely would recommend Blue Pearl.

We had our first visit on February 9 With Dr. Williams. I can’t even begin to express How pleased I am with that appointment. He was so calm and thorough. I didn’t feel rushed. He explained everything so that I could understand, came up with a plan and explained each step and why it was necessary. One of our primary doctors recommended him and I’m so glad she did. His bedside manner is amazing.

Staff was so gentle with our very nervous and shy cat, and the doctor walked through everything that was happening and next steps, very much appreciated the care and concern everyone showed while we were there.

Dr. Lindsay and her staff were amazing! They literally saved our Frenchie’s life! When his disc ruptured, he lost use of his back legs. He came in for emergency surgery and we were terrified that he would not make it. However, the staff @ Blue Pearl did an extraordinary job and truly gave us a gift that we could never return in full!

From the moment of walking in the door with my dog, the staff was attentive, nice and caring. My dog was treated like the special baby he is. Dr. Bourne was fantastic and explained everything well. I instantly felt secure in my decision to come to Blue Pearl because of her knowledge and kind nature.

To start off, I have no idea how this place doesn’t have a higher review score. So this week we were informed by another vet clinic that our pup had a splenic tumor and we were given no real options other than Euthanasia. So my wife and I decided to call the best vets in the DFW area to find a specialist and we’re blessed to be recommended to Dr. Bourne. We were able to get in first thing the next day. I’ve never been happier with the staff at a vet. We were HAPPILY greeted by Amanda Foster, who some how keeps a smile on her face with what has to be one of the most depressing jobs known to man. Then our nurse, Jess, came in counseled us about the problem and as knowledgeable as any vet I’ve ever talked to helped us feel ease in the process and the expertise of our doctor (Dr. Bourne). Dr. Bourne legitimately enjoys what she does, is super knowledgeable and treated Dewk as if he was her own. She gave us the best guidance and only wanted what was best for us and our pup. All in all, I couldn’t be more grateful for this staff, even in the worst of times, they somehow make you have hope. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else for emergency/specialty services. Now, I do have one CON not a COMPLAINT but a con. The con is that the price is pretty steep, however, you get what you pay for. You’re getting an incredible staff, top notch facility but most importantly you’re getting someone who’s well versed in their field. A place that stays open 24 hrs has overhead that most vets don’t incur so logically, it makes sense that they charge more barring everything else. As someone who doesn’t have an abundance to blow, I will continue to bring my dog back for ANY emergency or specialty needs.Dr. Bourne, Jess and Amanda better never leave cause our business will follow!

Everyone was so nice the doctor was so nice he was amazing I can’t remember his name but I can tell he really cares about all the animals coming in. My dog has been having seizures and he did everything he could do to help her. We have had to pay a lot of money for all of this and he was so understanding and helpful. I highly highly recommend this place your pet will be in great hands.

We took our Chihuahua in, due to pit attack. While the staff was very nice and attentive, the work performed was piss poor pitiful. My dogs neck was bitten so it was an open wound. They shaved the area, put him under and did surgery. They gave him back bloody with a cone big enough for a large dog. The cone was rubbing against his neck so super uncomfortable. This was Wed morning. The cone was making the dog move so much that it opened the wound. So we went back on Friday night. Mind you the first bill was $1850 for all the anesthesia, suctures, medicine etc. we brought him back Friday only for them to want to charge another $2400 for what should have been done the first time. We opted to wait and go to our normal vet the next morning. She provided anesthesia, triple stitched the wound, cleaned up all the blood and again provided all the meds for $700. I get this is an emergency room, but the job was not done or completed. Will never go to this emergency again if in a traumatic situation. I’d rather drive to Carrollton or Denton for the emergency care. Understand the money was not an issue, it’s all about the quality of care for my baby, my child!Again staff was kind and pleasant but service was trash.

Great care and service!! When my little guy was in emergency care they sent me pics and kept me updated regularly. I appreciate their compassion for the pets and humans.
