It was a nightmare. They waited until we showed up to get our rental to tell us they don’t have a car that we did a reservation for. We expected it to be a quick process and head out on our 17 hour drive trip asap and it did not happen like that at all. They offered a big van and big truck saying it was an upgrade when it wasn’t an upgrade to us. It was just two of us with two weekend bags. We needed a small compact vehicle good on gas. We ended up with the big van and it was extremely dirty on the inside and had receipts still on the ground from the last renter. There’s sticky stuff up on the inside of the walls in the back of the van like soda and crumbs from children being in there. The engine light kept coming on throughout the trip. The plugs in the middle console where you would connect your phone kept going out and disconnecting and the lights would go out around it so there’s definitely an electrical issue with the van. We had the tire light come on and it was a 2 hour wait to find out it just needed a lot of air and nothing was in the tire from the long drive. We had called to check on the drop off time since we were running late because of the discount tire issue with the tire light and the guy told us it wouldn’t be a big deal if it was him working but if it was someone else it would be but still proceeded to tell us we could return it any time before noon instead of the original 830am drop off time. Just seems like things are made up as they go. And a $250 deposit is ridiculous when that’s how much the rental was for us for having it for 4 days.

Do NOT prepay for your Rentam. The money you save isn’t worth it. Paying doesn’t guarantee you a car at the specific location you selected. Plus If you decide you want a refund, it takes 5-7 days to get your money back.I went to 3 locations before I was able to get a small size SUV (Toyota Rav-4). It’s not even a specialty car. Online reservation isn’t synced with local offices.With that said, the actual location (my 3rd place) had excellent service. I was pleased with their communication.

We have many choices in DFW for rental car services but if your looking for a professional and courteous staff that excels in great customer service, Mohammed at Budget Car Rental on 2403 S. Stemmons Fwy is your only option.I have been doing business with this location for several years and if you need a quality rental vehicle that comes at a good price, give this location your business, you won’t be disappointed!!

Had problems! I feel that I was scammed!At the rental location they closed the agreement before all 44 days, claiming that was only 30 days. They didn't say anything until one day after when they call me threatened with a fee and not been able to rent cars with Budget anymore because I was delayed with my return.My reservation number that matches agreement showed 44 days, not 30, so I had no idea about what they did. At location they closed my agreement at 30 days. Since I need a car I was forced to make a new reservation, which end at higher rates to keep the same car.Budget costumer support over the phone was useful saying that the problem was not in my end and their system showed as 44 days not 30 and they told me to go a budget location at airport, because they are more used to long term agreements (original location may not know what they are doing - I think they may know). At airport they try to help, they could change agreement to honor same rates until remaining of 44 days that would solve the rates, but since I'm going to need extended the rental, if they modify rates to match the older agreement, I wouldn't be able to extend and need to drive again 400 mi to make a new rental losing one more day at office. So, I'm still having to pay more for the remaining days, since there is no optimal solution.I'm not happy about that, and I don't think I will rent with budget in the future.

This is the second time in a matter of a week renting from Budget, 1st was a moving truck and just rented a car on friday for 2 days. What i love is the transparency in price! 2 days unlimited miles $104 and honestly its hard to find a better price last minute with unlimited miles. The guys in the front were helpful and made everything smooth to rent. Just return car clean, and fill tank and you pay what amount is as said at reservation. Definetly will rent with then again.

This is the best Budget Car Rental in DFW -Frisco area. Thanks to Robert and his professional way of working we got our car in time and hassle free ans he fixed all the issues created by the reservation call center and other rentals in Frisco. My experience was simple, quick, friendly and professional. My salesman Robert was very helpful and assisted me with my rental car needs. I was on and out within minutes. My return process was equally as fast. I will certainly visit Budget again!

These guys won't refund you if you bring it back early, even if they did it once before. Not good customer service ignoring your customers.
