I'm having a terrible experience with Assurant. Their phone number on the invoice is a scam. They received my Galaxy S22 Ultra, and they claimed it was a different device I never used in my entire life before. They truly a scam !!!

I keep receiving emails to send my device back but USPS confirmed delivery on July 8th and there’s no way to reach out to an agent through the phone.

Terrible customer service and unwillingness to help. Everyone gets an attitude when you ask for updates yet I’m the phone who paid my claim fee and still waiting multiple days with no update. Companies like this don’t sell their services themselves, they backdoor it through other companies and pray on people who dont know better

The reviews are just right. I returned my device and the tracking number stated that an info picked it up at the post office. After three months they tried charging me for the device stating that they never received it. The good thing is that based on reviews I kept my return receipt with me. Beware of them.

They were responsible for processing my trade in for Spectrum mobile and they blatantly lied saying the phone does not power on but of course when I received the phone back - it powered on perfectly fine.
After going back and forth with Spectrum because reaching out to Assurant is impossible since they do not answer phone calls. I was advised by Spectrum to email them a photo of the phone powered on, which I did and then Assurant said that is all they needed and they would send me a label. Device was sent out right away again and it's been nearly two months and I still have not received by $723 refund.
Both Spectrum and Assurant are 100% useless.

It has been already 3-4 months, a bird still roaming inside the warehouse but no one try to rescue that little lives. Each and every day that bird trying to exit but her/his wish to fly in open sky never fulfilled. It is so sad how much he/she feels thirsty, hungry. We employee are ready to spend some money if rescue plan apply for saving little lives. Please ?

This company suck ballz...Huge ballaz. They sent me the wrong from then I sent it back on 2/13/2024 and they are saying they didn't recieve and it now as of 2/25/2024. Oh by the way I still did do not have my new phone.

Its been days waiting on a replacement phone from metropcs and I still don't have a my phone it says it was shipped but ups said there waiting on the package so it be delivered customer service isn't helpful they don't listen to your actual question they don't know what's on your better off not paying for insurance and just buying a whole new phone

Sent my trade-in iPhone 11, which Assurant received on February 27th. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT FOR IT ! !

I have reached out on FB, still have not had my issue resolved.
If I don't hear back from someone specifically at the Lewisville, TX location or am given contact info for a supervisor there, I will be contacting a news reporter about how Assurant is scamming people out of their trade-ins.

Sent in a galaxy s22 to trade in. Said they received an s20. I never owned an s20 before. Thankfully, samsung resolved this issue, and I didn't get charged an extra $250. This company is a joke.

Beware, these Google reviews were right about this company robbing you of your personal property. Assurant is 1000% UNRELIABLE, and they are THIEVES. They said to me over the phone that I needed to buy a whole brand new device to get my replacement. LIKE WAIT WHAT?? So what happened to my personal device I sent in? Short answer, It's gone. I paid 9 extra dollars on my phone bill every month for 3 years for phone insurance, and for what? To get scammed. So basically, Metro by Tmobile charges you extra fees that doesn't applicate to ANYTHING its just for company gain. At the end of the day I'm switching Carriers and that's that. Good day.
