I tried to give this post office the benefit having read all the bad reviews. Until… they proved them right. All my mail was returned to sender. How do I know? Glad you asked. Set up a pickup for a package. The carrier left a pre- printed “Sorry we missed you” sticker on my door that blew off and landed inside my house. I picked up a day later and it had something handwritten on it that read “Pick up your mail’s too!” No lie. Those were the exact words. So, I called the Leander post office on MLK day and followed the guided voice by clicking the link on my phone. Side note: They have an updated feature for an out of touch/date office. Interesting ? Anyway… through said guided system I left a service request. I received a call the next day from Ashley. She informed me my mail would resume delivery. Wait? What? She explained that my mail had accumulated in my mailbox and was being held at the post office. She said after 10 days of being held it’s returned to sender. ?? Huh?! How was I supposed to know that? Why wasn’t I informed that it was full, being held or returned? I had questions. She apologized, but then said the carrier did his job. ?What?! He left a cryptic hand message on my door and he did his job? She said he was wrong for not leaving a note in my mailbox, but he did his job. Walk it back, Ashley! He missed a very important step in the process. He didn’t do his job. I asked how to file a complaint and she said the same way I made the service request. Wrong answer Ashley! I landed on the service request by calling. It was accidental, but it’s ok I’ll figure it out. Meanwhile, W2’s, insurance cards, checks and other important mail is gone. I don’t even know what else was in there. I asked sweet Ashley how would a postal customer know about the return mail policy? She could not provide that information. But, she did say she would email it to me. Now… I haven’t received it yet. But… the thought that she could email me with the policy, but not send an email inform me about my mail being held baffles me. Leander!Leander! Leander! ? Do better!Recent 3/29/24 I sent a care package and it was picked up Monday. 3 day delivery. Nowhere to be found. This was an Easter gift for a college student. This is the worst post office EVER! I never supported getting rid of USPS until Leander Post office happened. They need to be legally prosecuted for mail theft.

Had an urgent package I needed to send today and missed lobby hours by 20 minutes. I was trying to figure out how to repackage my stuff so I could fit in the drop box when Juana came out to help me. She said she'd take care of getting it boxed up and sent out. This was great customer service and she was a lifesaver!

Rude, horrible service from the large woman behind the counter. It has been 4 days and I'm still like "what was her problem?". In any event, Fedex was happy to help me mail a card to someone. Yes, that's right - my demanding need was to mail a card, and this required probing questions and countless objections to no end. Really rude stuff about my handwriting etc. She insisted the address of the multi-million dollar business I was sending the card to did not exist. She refused to suggest what the address might be or what the error might be (there was absolutely none). Doesn't she work for the organization that manages addresses? How can every website I use in 2024 auto-fill any address after a few characters, but this rude slob can't be bothered to verify the information she owns? Not to mention, the address was perfectly correct. Fedex was able to handle this reality - rude, bitter, ugly Postal Worker could not.

The staff was friendly and helpful.I left my glasses on the counter when I dropped off several packages yesterday. I came back today and when I asked about them, one of the ladies behind the counter smiled and said "yes we have them." I was so relieved, they were prescription glasses and would have been expensive to replace. When I dropped off my packages the day before, I had several questions since I had never used prepaid labels before. The postal worker was able to answer all my questions. She told me to wait just a minute, then she checked in my packages and gave me a receipt with all my tracking information.

The most incompetent, developmentally impaired, set of individuals working here. Had an expensive package that was marked delivered to my locker at my apartment complex and when I went to go check my mailbox, there was no key to the locker and nothing in my mailbox itself. I see it’s a recurring pattern with other people in the reviews so this USPS location needs an employee overhaul, I shouldn’t have to wait multiple days to locate a package at the expense of an idiot delivery driver. Do better!

Usps workers here do not delivery packages due to their laziness, so sick of receiving insufficient address on a CORRECT address and sick of my son not receiving gifts from me. All because these sorry excuse for workers just dont care. My son is a marine and is now home and I want to pamper him some but nooooooo usps cant deliver due to their ignorance or just keeping packages themselves or just lazy and it is easier to return to sender. LEANDER post office you really stink. The postal worker whose route is on Ronald W. Reagan blvd leander tx is LAZY and shouldn't be allowed to handle ANY packages. Thank you for the constant disappointment and frustration and thank you for letting my son down and taking gifts away from him.

I tried calling several times during business hours with no answer so I’ll let you know here. Whoever delivered mail to blockhouse creek today left a couple of mailbox doors open on the locker by the pool. Several people’s personal information was left wide open where anyone could take it.

Can't believe our tax dollars pay for people who can't sort things into the right slots, lose mail constantly, and generally are some of the most incompetent workers in the country. Apparently if your package is marked 'delivered' (by a carrier that can't even sort paper mail right) you MUST have it even if you've said multiple times you've never received it. They love pulling out the GPS coordinate stuff out as if their GPS tells them exactly what slot it was put in, in a cluster mail box you share with 30 other people (It doesn't).This particular office would benefit from an employee purge and maybe if we all hope hard enough, they'll hire people who can do the painfully simple task of giving everyone the right mail.

The worst postal service ever known in my life. Incompetent, horrible, don’t listen to concerns, always delivering to the wrong address or always receiving other people’s mail. Parcel lockers don’t work half the time so always need to make a request to redeliver.

The Leander Post Office makes me wish Google had 0 or 1/2 stars as an option. They refuse to answer their phone, the staff is unhelpful, and they'll randomly stop delivering packages. I've had packages stuck in lockers with broken keys, I've continuously received mail from other neighbors that have completely different names and addresses, and the funniest part? Throughout all of this, they make sure the spam mail never stops!A wonderful example of why the USPS needs an overhaul.
