My former accountant took a life-changing job opportunity, and even though I had referrals, I opted for a local accountant and fast.I called Traci's number and Jennifer, her Admin, called me within days, walked me through Traci's process, answered my questions, and was even able to give me a quote based on some worst-case scenarios since she was doing both private and business taxes. Jennifer was warm and professional and was willing to answer all the questions I had through email and the phone.I provided the documents she asked for, answered a few clarifying questions, within a few weeks, I had the summary of my tax return in the secured documents server. We reviewed all the information, digitally signed and we had our return within 10 days.This was an amazing experience, even more so when you consider that we were last-minute clients with corporate taxes closer to the deadline than we were comfortable with.I will be hiring her again next year!

This is the second year that Traci has done my taxes. I'm recenly widowed, 84 years old, and a completely ignorant computer person. Traci has been wonderful. I know she has gone the extra mile for me and done some of the things that give me trouble. She does know the person she is working with.I just thank the day that I found her on the internet.

Update and response to Ms. Taubert's 1/19/22 reply to my review: Please review your QuickBooks records for invoice# 1613 (dated and emailed to me on 5/19/21) which will clearly show your statement of "Returns are not invoiced to clients until they are in draft form (meaning they are complete and ready for the client's final review)." is not factual. Not only did your system invoice me before my return was prepared, "draft form" or otherwise, it did so for $100 more than your original quote, which I brought to your attention via email that same day, and you manually corrected back to the original price at which point I was invoiced yet again! As stated in my initial post, I was never presented with any version of my personal return to review, even though I had supplied you with all requested documents well in advance, yet your system continued to invoice me. I will gladly forward you the invoice notices in question if you are unable to locate them in your system with the number I have now provided. Honestly, the invoice issue was the least of my concerns compared to filing a last-minute unplanned extension with the IRS as stated in my original post.

Traci Taubert prepared my wife's and my 2019 income taxes. She is great; knowledgeable, professional, helpful, available for misc questions and help, via email or phone. She works with you, and is responsive to requests to do things in a particular way. She has 2 secure encrypted portals for communicating messages and files that contain sensitive information. She did a stellar job on our taxes, and even e-filed them for us, although she will send them to you as a PDF though her portal, if you wish to print them and file them yourself. All-in-all, one of the most relaxing times I've had during tax season. Thanks, Traci!

Needed a tax preparer nearby. Communicating effectively is critical in almost every service or business; and I just was not getting that from the very start. Was never sure about what was next after communicating. I asked clarifying questions, after a cookie cutter list of needs was sent to me, that never got answered. It truly seemed like she was either very distracted or just not up for the job. Either way, just be clear and tell me. After not hearing back regarding clarifying questions I sent on Monday, by Thurs I sent an email to follow up and say that I felt we were not communicating effectively and would like a baseline voice conversation or I would have to conclude that there is just no time to help my wife and I. She didn't ask about what questions I needed answered and instead told me about how things take time to complete (total disconnect from the thread of my conversation). After that, she said, " ..but if you feel it is best to switch tax preparer, I will halt working on your file and understand. etc." Really? What are you doing to work on my file if I have questions about 2 of the 5 listed items you sent? After telling my wife that I found someone and that I was sending all of our docs, this was an inconvenience. I truly didn't expect this as it really came across as though she barely cared; as added evidence by her not being in the least bit crushed by me almost demanding clear and timely communication. It was proactive for me to be on top of this task after a terrible 2020 and I wanted someone who cared and would help us nail this. In this experience, it was just not good for me.
