Never thought I would post this, called in this morning for a prescription, was told it would be ready at 4pm. Waiting in line for 45 minutes arriving at 5. Was told it was not ready would have to come back tomorrow. Also being hearing impaired those little speakers were very hard to hear and there was no alternate way to communicate with the girl in the counter. Every HEB I’ve been to, I’ve always had great service and very accommodating EXCEPT this one. I hope they are better in the future ! Not sure if I’ll come back here …

I have previously had fine experiences with this pharmacy since switching from another national chain pharmacy. Only gripe is long wait times which seems to be the case almost everywhere. However, today was an entirely different story. Went to pick up my medication that states it is READY on the website. I received the ready for pick up text message as well. Waited almost half an hour to get to the window to pick it up, just for the staff to say that I had to leave the line and drive around to the BACK of the line again because it wasn't mixed up. If you're going to tell a patient their medication is ready, then have it ready. OR don't make them drive around to the back of the line when it should've been ready the entire time. Seriously incompetent staff here - do better!

The pharmacy department has really gone down hill. The last few visits in a row I've had poor communication, if at all, leading to me having to follow up with my doctor to do their job. Now I'm lucky if my prescription is actually ready when I get the automated voice message.

We switched to HEB after a year or more of troubles with a national pharmacy (which I will not name). It’s been a world of difference working with HEB. As a family with a steady stream of prescriptions, we need a pharmacy that is reliable, has an easy online system, and pickup to be as minimal of a headache as possible. The fact that this one has a drive thru has been awesome, as I don’t need to get all the kids out and in the car to just get our medicine. All of our interactions with staff have been positive, and I wanted to give a particular shoutout to Patty :) she spent unhurried time on a call with me to figure out an issue with one of my meds, and also gave me tips on reducing the cost of a few unrelated to the one I called about. She didn’t need to take extra time giving me ways to make my life a bit easier, but she did, and I just really really appreciated it! As someone with major phone anxiety, I dread making these sort of necessary calls, but each pleasant phone experience helps solidify a business as one I’ll stick with. 🙂 even though our route may be changing in the near future, I plan to stick with this particular HEB for the pharmacy!

Most of the employees are friendly and do their best to be efficient. It’s a really busy pharmacy, so sometimes I have to wait a bit, but I expect that and try to be understanding. I also try not to go during peak hours. I’ve been using this pharmacy for years and I’m happy with it overall.

I shop here weekly if not more often. The staff are friendly, and it is usually easy to find items on the shelf.
