Fuel injection pump go out with the cold weather it was a couple months out warranty they covered it. Found # 3 injector that needed replacement and a few other issues that needed be addressed great mechanics and their front desk person Amy I she knows as much as the mechanics

Dependable diesel was referred to me by a few gentlemen in the Leander cedar Park Dad's group on Facebook. I'm always weary of taking my vehicles into a shop but let me tell you dependable Diesel is by far the most trustworthy place I have ever been to. Not only did they let me drop my truck off after hours but they held it for me for an additional day because I didn't have time to come and pick it up. Everyone is extremely helpful they are extremely thorough and no matter what the job they do not disappoint! I will be taking my beautiful 95 Ford F350 to them every single time!

Gary and his team are 100% the best that I have encountered. Gary's ability to correctly diagnose and pinpoint the problem with my vehicles is unmatched. I have brought multiple vehicles here and I won't go anywhere else for repairs/installs on my personal or business vehicles.

Horrible experience all the way around. AC system replaced including compressor and was Assured nothing else left. Picked up and drove off and hear big rattling sound from wheel. So took it right back and got that repaired. Not sure how they missed 1st check up. picked up the 2nd time and AC worked for 1 hour then started blowing hot. Took in thinking under warranty but a day later was told a hose and another $600 and ready in 2 days. Took over a week to get back, after ready tomorrow constantly.. drove off and it worked for a day. could not trust them anymore and sick of dealing with them and took to another place. they had to replace the new compressor because it already went bad due to not repairing correctly. Will be filing small claims as soon as I get time.

Referred here by Christian brothers because they specialize in Diesel trucks. From the first phone call I was confident that these guys knew there stuff and sure enough they did and were able to narrow down what I thought was a much worse issue to something simple and easy. They were kind about it and explained it to me well. I’ll surely be using them again in the future and recommend them to diesel owners.

Gary at Dependable Diesel & Car meticulously addressed and successfully resolved the emissions issue plaguing my GMC Duramax diesel truck, which had persistently triggered a Check Engine Light (CEL). Despite the complexity of the matter, involving recurring problems related to DPF soot buildup and DEF tank issues in a new diesel vehicle, Gary's expertise and determination ultimately led to a resolution. Throughout the three visits to his shop required to tackle these challenges, I greatly appreciated Gary's commitment to ensuring I remained mobile. Unexpectedly, he provided me with a replacement vehicle, sparing me any inconvenience during the repair process. In light of the exceptional service and professionalism displayed by Dependable Diesel & Car, I have unequivocally chosen them as my preferred automotive repair facility moving forward.

So happy we were told about this place. We took my grandsons diesel to Christain Brothers in Leander and they were kind enough to refer us to Dependable Diesel. CB had worked on our truck before but told us we could get a better price and faster service from the diesel shop since they work on them daily. Dependable Diesel is the best shop for Diesel work. AND they have a warranty on all work done! We definitely will be using them again.

Great people and great service! Finding a good local mechanic is never easy. A prior experience with another shop that said they specialized in diesel was less than spectacular and overpriced. But these folks took great care of me and delivered my truck on time. In addition, they saved me money when they found that one part wasn’t needed and another could simply be cleaned. I strongly recommend them.

Everything is great about this place! They towed my truck to their shop from my house(25 min away) for 1/3 the price of any tow company and diagnosed my truck quickly, given how busy they were. They repaired my electrical issue in less than a day once they got the parts. It’s obvious they care more about serving their customers than making money!Service: Electrical repair
