The place is small and gets crowded in no time. Vegetables are not fresh but you got to pick what is available. Minimum card transaction is $5 which is absurd. Who carries cash these days?The restaurant service is extremely slow. Had to wait a good 45-60min for a mere order of 4 samosas and chicken wrap. This is close to my place but the poor service makes me think if i should look for another indian store.

The mutton here is excellent, really tender and similar to what we used to enjoy in India. Their restaurant serves up some decent dosas, samosas, and more. The grocery section is pretty solid, too. Overall, it's a solid choice for shopping for Indian groceries.

Their return policy sucks.. I bought a Deccan Sona Masoori rice bag and the cooked rice is getting weird smell. I tried to return the rice bag and asked for Exchange. for this I need to wait 30 minutes to get their decision that they will not do anything with this transaction. Apparently I left the rice bag there and purchased new one.

I visited DB foods to purchase raw chicken. As the already chooped whole chicken in the fridge (2 available chicken) were of bigger pieces and had some undesired piece(organ), I told the butcher that the chicken was not properly cut. He started being rude and heard him mumbling something. Then, someone else cut another chicken. I took it but it turned out to be shredded. I have to cook it and take the chicken for a potluck event today. Afraid, the chicken will be more shredded on cooking. Very disappointing.
