Only a 2 star due to its closer location to me. Otherwise, they have missed 2 opportunities to have what I needed. The next closest auto parts store had what I needed and never have come back here. Sorry!

As a business Owner myself and being familiar with dealing with shortcomings as an organization at times, I like to be much more understanding with sometimes poor customer service from time to time as it is not easy being a manager and taking care of every customer as perfectly as I would like. We purchased front and rear set of rotors for our company towing vehicle which is a DRW F350 ($1,100+ value) back in September but ended up selling the vehicle so we attempted to return the items to the Cedar Park Store prior to the 90 day no return policy date, however, after waiting 2 hours as the CP store manager to help me the employee assisting me the staff at the store could not find the transaction in their system, I had to go to a meeting I had scheduled so I left thinking I'd be able to come back with the items and return them. I thought I'd try a different store but wanted to call in so I didn't waste another 2 hours. The employee that I spoke with on the phone said that we should have no issue returning the items and to just "bring them in" without asking when we purchased, looking the transaction up, ect so I pack the oversized rotors and brought them in with me just for the manager to immediately (without finding the transaction) tell me they are not within the 90 day return policy duration but that he would ask the employee if he could do something. The employee I spoke with on the phone came to the front with no solution. The Manager stated multiple times abrasively with the audience, of other customers that "Rules are Rules". At this point I was just tired of beating a dead horse and felt defeated so we left. We buy over 10k worth of parts annually for our business and personal vehicles so we will be taking our business elsewhere and I recommend you all do the same.

I went to this Leander location after being misled by someone about a bad battery, which ended out not to be the case. Ricky, the fine gentleman working at this site, not only took the time to inspect the battery and its condition before printing out the results, which showed a good battery but a low charge, but he also explained that this could be due to a faulty alternator but can confirm it once the battery has a full charge. I inquired about another concern unrelated to the battery - a strange sound emanating from there. He suggested that it could be a serpentine belt issue, and that it is best to replace them while changing the alternator in older vehicles with high mileage. He also went out of his way to provide an excellent mechanic referral, which ended up saving the day. I'm delighted I went to AutoZone.

I had to jumpstart my mother-in-law's car three times in the last two weeks. So the last time I had to jumpstart it I drove it over to AutoZone. They offer free battery testing and confirmed my suspicion that the battery was shot. We went inside and the manager went over the different options for her Camry, explaining the different price points and variations. He then quickly and installed the battery also free of charge. Couldn't be happier with the customer service.

It was great that an employee provided assistance to me by testing and replacing my battery. The staff member who assisted me willingly handled the exchange. Because I also bought a new air filter, he kindly installed it and disposed of my dirty one.This was my first visit to this location, and I will definitely return. The superior customer service has made me a solid new customer!

I really appreciate the assistance I received in testing and replacing my battery. With the summer heat, my battery was giving up the ghost. The staff member to assisted me willingly handled the exchange. I knew my air filter wasn't looking so good either, so I was picking up a new one. He offered to install it, too. It was nice avoiding that hassle and having to deal with disposal. I'm definitely returning here for future auto needs. This superior customer service has made me a solid new customer!

I didn't catch his name but there is an older man at this location (red mark on his right cheek) who is absolutely no help at all! I went to see about my check engine light and he was trying to get me to do it by myself and made a whole deal about it when I asked if he could do it, he then proceeded to make comments basically about how I am dumb for not knowing what certain wires are in my car. Then, when we got back inside to see what the check engine light was for, he silently plugged in the reader and simply turned the screen at me like I knew what I was looking at. I had to ask him to tell me what any of it meant and he had an attitude the whole time and didn't even explain what it was or what was wrong with it. He simply said that I can't fix it on my own and I have to take it to a mechanic. After further looking into it, I absolutely can fix it on my own and it will be super easy to do. This is super unfortunate because I have been to this location before and had help from an older man with a handle bar mustache and he was AMAZING! If you come here, make sure to work with handle bar mustache guy, and not red mark on face guy!
