This is a beautiful place, plenty of wildlife around, the water is beautiful. The beds are not very comfortable but the cabins are clean.

First and last. Generally speaking, most of these businesses make a living out of visitors from everywhere looking for a great experience
floating down the river.
But, what they don't disclose is that at least from the past four years, the river is been dried, so that experience goes away.
Don't waste your money go, somewhere else.
Overrated, overpriced.

June 2024 - 1st time staying at Crider’s. We loved the spacious cabin and pool/recreation area. Would have liked the hot tub/spa to be heated. Minimal cookware but we made do. Even tho the river was low, we were able to float and relax here. Didn’t love the other noisy campers who played loud music until 3am and yelled profanity. The location was great with Garner just 10 mins away.

lights are always on can’t see stars and disruptive during night. no river access just to other property. obnoxious guests that the owners do not do anything about.

Great experience, will return, Carmen was friendly and the cabin #5 was nice. I do recommend bringing your own pots pans and silverware, they have some but I don't trust other utensils.

Great experience. The owners are friendly, professional and have great customer service. RV park is shaded so the camper didn't get hot during the day (in a heat wave no less). River access is perfect, lots of places to park.

Very disappointed with our stay. I do not recommend staying at these cabins and most definitely will NOT go back. Very poorly stocked. Cooking supplies are minimal at best. Take everything you need for meal prep if you plan to cook. Our Cabin was filthy, it had hair in the shower from previous guest. The floors were filthy you couldn't walk barefooted on them or your feet would be black. We had a spill in the kitchen and when we wiped it up the towel was covered in black grime from previous stayers. I don't think the floor had been mopped in years. The broom that was in the cabin was covered in hair and yuck. The toilet smelled strongly of old urine and was not clean. Take your own sheets, blankets, pillows, bedcoverings as they provide none. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. They charge you $190.00 to clean but they do not have a cleaning team that comes in behind you to clean. They expect the previous stayers to clean it and leave it clean for the next guest. They do not come by and pick up your trash everyday anymore. They charge extra for every little thing including trash pickup and vehicles. It's just gross. My family has gone to Criders for years, We used to sit on the riverbank and watch the floaters go by and we could get up and down in the river conveniently from just about any spot along the riverbank. That's not possible anymore because they don't weed eat near the river bank and its all overgrown now. You have to crawl through the weeds to get into the river or use the steep stairs. You can't sit on the riverbank and just watch the people floating by anymore either, the weeds are too high and the bugs are bad. Just very disappointing to see what used to be a wonderful place to stay so poorly maintained in everyway...lawns, cabins, supplies. While we were there we found other cabins to stay in for next year. We won't be back.

We have been staying at Crider’s for about 8 years now and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The staff is great. The cabins are very clean and spacious. And the location! Our cabin was a few steps away from the beautiful Frio River and magnificent cypress trees. Such a beautiful place. Can’t wait to stay again!Rooms: Very clean and spacious!Nearby activities: Great location! Very close to Leaky and Concan for shopping!

Had another amazing year!!!’ Staff was great as usual even after an incident with another business. Mr Escamilla him self came to apologize and to make sure everyone was fine. We will be back again!!Our family has been going for the last 7 years to the Frio and the last 4 have been here. Our favorite place, great people, great staff and one of the best places for river access. We will be back again next year.

We stayed at BC and had a good time. The cabin is clean and has everything we need. More importantly is the honest and welcoming staff, I left my airpods behind, not holding high hope to find them again. But I gave them a call just in case, and they DID find them. Thanks!

Terrible service especially from the lady in the office. Smart attitude was not appreciated regardless of anything you are a business!
