I recently brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic, and after two days without any updates, I went to retrieve it myself. Upon arrival, I discovered that my car no longer started. Despite the staff and owner insisting they had not caused any issues, they claimed to have driven the vehicle, yet no one contacted me to inform me of any decision not to proceed with repairs. If they had decided not to work on my car, I would have expected a call immediately, rather than having it sit for two days with no communication. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and transparency. I would strongly advise finding another service provider.

About 5 years ago I had Wright Transmission rebuild my 2007 Chevy Avalanche Transmission. They did a great job and I have had absolutely no problems. Would certainly recommend them and use them again if I had a transmission problem. Best place I know. Price was reasonable. I purchased the Avalanche new in 2007 and the transmission still works perfect.

I have used Chad on a prior vehicle and currently have another one getting a transmission rebuilt. Chad at Wright Transmission is the only place that I will use and trust. The prices are very fair and he does professional and thorough work. He is very knowledgeable and will give you options on the repairs, If other options are available. Any repair's or rebuilds, transmission comes with a warranty also. I would highly recommend Wright to anyone.

About 36 months ago my 2007 Chevy Avalanche had a transmission that was in need of major repairs. I went to Wright Transmissions and talked to the owner and they rebuilt my transmission and I got a 12 month warranty. I have now driven the truck probably 36,000 over the last 36 months or so and I never had any problems at all with the transmission rebuild. No oil leaks, no adjustments and no problems. Drives like when I purchased it new in 2007. Wright Transmission was recommended to me by a auto mechanic friend who said Wright Transmission was the best transmission shop in the Clear Lake Area. The price quoted was very good. They didn't jack the price up. I paid them exactly what the quoted for the repair estimate. I would certainly recommend them for a transmission repair. The owner was my main contact person at the shop and he certainly seemed honest and professional to me.

They kept me informed the entire time. They had to wait on parts to come in that was beyond there control but they told me what to expect keeping me updated the entire time. It slowed the turnaround time about a day but he upgraded my system for the same price he originally quoted me! My vehicle is running better than when it came from the factory. This is my 3rd time using them and Chad and Seth have really have taken care of me. My mechanic shop from now on. ?

So, I thought my transmission was going out, after the dealer told me 100% I absolutely needed a "brand new" transmission - I met Chad. I asked him to just take a ride with me to see if I was crazy for the way my SUV was driving or if it really did need a new transmission. He gave me options with pricing and warranty info, he was SUPER nice and SUPER helpful. I did have a small issue, wish I was blame the dealer because that's how I ended up in this mess, Chad's guys fixed it right away, and my SUV drives like a brand new car. Super impressed. And, it only took 2 days!! Highly recommend!!

Chad Wright at Wright Transmission gave me my FIRST GOOD EXPERIENCE getting my dead transmission brought BACK TO LIFE. I liked them from beginning to end. They did a free diagnosis and they explained what was wrong, then they actually gave me CHOICES on how to have it repaired. I even got to CHOOSE which warranty I wanted. I also noticed how well all of the employees and mechanics worked together. These guys are honest, helpful, and knowledgeable.
