I am a newer resident and so far I am loving how quiet the complex is. My only issues so far is that I was told something in my apartment would be fixed and I am now here almost 3 weeks later and it is still not fixed. The ladies in the office are very nice....when you can get ahold of them. Prior to moving it I left work early one day because I had a confirmed appointment to view the apartments. The sign says they close at 6pm but almost everyday at 5pm, like clockwork, they are gone. I wasted 1.5 hours of PTO because I got here at 5:03 PM and they were gone. Lastly, the views from the road of the apartments and leasing office are beautiful but the inside of the grounds need work. The stairs and concrete, the grounds around parking lots, front doors, and elevator area need some serious work.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! My AC has not worked in a month and the property refuses to fix the problem! They have done nothing to help me whatsoever. My apartment is always 78-80 degress when i get home with extremely high humidity. I had to buy 2 portable AC units for $875 just to attempt to keep my bedrooms cool. Despite my numerous attempts to get help they have done NOTHING! My electric bill was $590 this month because the AC runs 24/7 to do nothing but circulate air! I am so tired of the lack of urgency and customer service at this property. Since FOGELMAN purchased this property, it has turned for the worse and been downhill ever since. I can't wait for my lease to end!STAY AWAY!!!!

Staff and maintenance are friendly. Quiet complex. Nice apartments. Pet friendly. Nice pool. Nice view from on the water. Just missing a dog park and wash area.

I lived in the moorings for 2 years. Before moving in, it was extremely difficult to find anyone in the office or have anyone answer the phone. I moved in because I fell in love with the view. Throughout the entire year it was difficult to come into communication with anyone in the office. When I moved out, we had a hard time finding an employee to leave the keys to. It took me 3 attempts until I reached someone. After moving out I received a bill of $700+ and noticed that they charged me for furniture dumping. I had just given birth two weeks prior and had hired a group of movers to move my belongings. I was physically not able to “dump furniture” and did not have anyone “dump furniture” for me. Every single time that I have tried to contact the office they have not answered. I have also driven to the apartments which are an hour away and have arrived to notice that no one was there. I was not able to wait since I had my newborn baby with me. The week after I received a letter from debt collectors wanting money. I have tried to dispute the “furniture dumping” charge and pay for everything else but no one is answering emails or calls. I am tired of dealing with this establishment. They only care about money. Save yourself the future headache and avoid this place at all cost. When we were also in the last month of our lease they fired all of the maintenance workers that actually cared about the residents AND the place and replaced them with new people who took forever with maintenance orders and were rude.

This place is absolutely amazing very peaceful and clean. AMY and Marissa help the process out very well. It was very smooth and I know I can depend on them to move in with knowing everything I needed to know..

I love Living life at the Moorings! The Maintenance is always on top of everything! The office people are sweet and helpful! Starting on my 3rd year here! Transitioned from two bedroom to a one. They have made it super easy and took care of all the details ♥️

This place is absolute paradise. From the incredible views to the wonderful staff, you truly cannot beat what this apartment has to offer. The apartments are absolutely beautiful, well kept, and very safe. If you are remotely considering a new apartment, you won’t find a better one than the Moorings. And Amy is AWESOME!! Thank you so much again, Amy for helping us make this our new home!!

Attentive and courteous people, both staff and residents. Renovations are happening and can’t wait to see when they’re done! Didn’t realize how much I missed living on the water.

Worst property management ever. Took over three months ago and will not return a phone call or email. If you show up to the office the don't have answers. Infect I was instructed to google the management company because the office manager didn't know the name of the company she worked for. But my rent went up to $2000 a month. This is Moorings Luxury apartment living!

Worst managment I have ever experienced. Grounds are full of dog p*** and the original 1980 appliances. Rust and mold in dishwasher. No ice maker or even a sprayer in the sink, yet my rent is $2000 a month for two bedroom.

If I could give a negative rating I would. This place advertises itself as a luxury apartment. Nothing about this complex is luxurious or even close to being decent. First, we lived in a 1/1. All flooring is a cheap rubber "wood look" floor in the main living areas. The bldg is 4 stories, so either you climb 4 floors or you deal with hearing every step your neighbor takes. You can hear their tv, anything and everything that happens in the halls. If you like quiet, this is not the place to live. We made several complaints about our upstairs neighbor and her wooden shoes, nothing was ever said. We moved out of that one and into an upstairs 2/2. It was so filthy I had to throw away the socks I was wearing the day we moved in. Made the mistake of taking my flip flops off and my feet were black. Took literally days to get the floors clean enough not to have to wear shoes 24/7.After a couple of days we started notice the ac ran constantly but never reached temp. We of course let the office know. Nothing happened. It continued to get hotter and hotter. We made several complaints and the sent three different people on three different days, all three told us they cleaned the coils. Not sure what the 2nd and 3rd guys had to clean?? Did not make a single difference. We started keeping a temp log of date/set temp/ and actual temp. We were averaging 78-85. We fought and fought with the front office and they basically said we were lying. Even though we had a month of record keeping. Then we got an electricity bill of $385!!! For a two bedroom apartment! Then a new management company bought the apartments. We thought great!! Finally we will get some help! WRONG! They refused to do anything either. We were averaging 82-85 degrees and the system never shut off. They did bring us a portable unit that constantly left huge puddles on the floor and only cooled a radius of 10 ft around the unit. Useless! But it did run constantly and increase our energy bill! We received another $365 bill. Bottom line, it's a typical trashy apartment despite the high rent. They will smile and lie to your face over and over again. Oh and the icing on the cake, they charged us $3000 to get out of our lease. We could not live there. I didn't even get into the people that live there. Nasty. Filthy. No one picks up their dog's crap. Take my advice and keep looking!! This place is not where you want to be. They are masters of the bait and switch! I will add pics here shortly.

Within the last month or so we have new ownership and they have done away with all the Amazing maintenance staff but kept the office staff, which is the rudest, most unprofessional crew I’ve ever witnessed. No people skills, no concern for any current residents, only energy given is trying to get new tenants. I’ve been here 2 years and for the most part enjoyed it, but now the place is unkept, the pool is always filthy with algae growing in it and the only thing the community is trying to do is increase everyone’s rent by about a 1,000$ a year. It’s a shame, the apartments that don’t face the water have vinyl that is peeling up and Formica countertops that are worn out. It’s truly a great location and COULD BE a great place if the new ownership and the God awful office staff had any concerns whatsoever. All my fabulous neighbors and people I’ve met in the community are currently gone or in the process of moving, primarily due to the office staff that apparently goes unchecked no matter how many people complain about them and how many great tenants they lose.

Maintenance issues not addressed. Ask for pest control and they are a no show. Have roaches. Not a good experience. I can’t wait to get out of here!

The property is beautiful and well kept. The maintenance staff here is the best. When they come to fulfill maintenance requests, they are always polite and friendly. Their attitude is always positive and they get the job done in a timely manner. The office staff has been nothing but polite and friendly. I have spoken with Ashley many times and she is always very polite and friendly. April is very informative and very matter-of-factly, which I like because I would rather someone be truthful then to just say what I want to hear. I appreciate her honesty. I have only lived here for a few weeks and I am extremely happy with my choice.
