I was excited to see that this Sephora opened in the Kohl’s near my house, I have shopped here a few times since and had no issues….until now. Today I went to return an item that was bought at this location a few weeks back; I of course lost the receipt but then I realize “oh wait! I have it on my sephora app under purchases.” HA SURPRISE, NOPE NOT ALLOWED. The Sephora Manager explains to me that they cannot use that to complete the return, and I cannot return it to a stand alone Sephora either because “we aren’t affiliated with each other.” I asked her why this was not explained to me when it was purchased and she stated that she “alway says that.” If that is the case and the STORE MANAGER claims she tells every customer this when making a purchase, you would think you would train your employees to do the same thing.Sadly I will not be shopping here anymore, I would rather drive an extra 15 minutes than give this Sephora money due to the lack of customer service and customer experience. Doubt the manager realized but another Sephora customer followed me out and said “I overheard your conversation, thank you I’m leaving because I didn’t know that and it’s a terrible policy”Moral of the story: Everything is digital nowadays but when shopping at the Sephora Khols: always file your receipts!!!

Meant to do this earlier but life happens , the manager here is super knowledgeable and friendly , far most helping out my pre-teenager choose the best options when it comes to beauty essentials, best customer service definitely coming back!!
