I have nothing but positive comments about this daycare! My son started back in 2021 when he was 8 weeks old and has been attending ever since. Every teacher we have come into contact with has been so welcoming and reassuring of how much they care about the children. Since being at this school I have seen my son thrive in his cognitive development and I truly have Primrose and his teachers to thank for that. When we got pregnant with our daughter we knew 100% she would attend Primrose alongside her brother. I 100% recommend this daycare!

So happy we found Primrose! As a new mom, especially a first time mom, going back to work was extremely hard. But the folks at Primrose have shown us time and time again how much they love and care for our baby. We couldn't be more blessed to know that he's in such great hands during the day.I love the constant communication we have with the staff and our baby's "teachers". They are always so attentive and responsive. The facility itself is always clean and well taken care of. I also appreciate the safety and security policies/procedures that ensure our child's safety. They utilize an app that helps me keep track of my son's day and even get a few photos of their activities which makes me so happy. All of the negative/critical Google reviews about this location are from 4+ years ago so if you're doing your due diligence, please keep this in mind. Google reviews don't always represent the full picture, especially the negative ones. This is truly so much more than a daycare/school. We're a military family and I hope that we're still in the area to see our kiddo grow up here!

Great place for children. The facility is always immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and warm.

The people in charge DO NOT care about their employees health nor students health and they can’t say they do. They expect people to live their lives around this school only and it’s a shame

My son has been at Primrose at Victory Lakes for 3 months now and in that short time has progressed tremendously. The teachers are very nice and attentive, they enjoy their job and are great educators. I think that one of the most important aspects to me is they make learning fun for my child and as a result he learns more. There are days I say he can stay home and he says no he wants to go to school. I call that a win. Safety and good communication is also a priority and I definitely appreciate that! We love it, it is a great choice.

We have loved our time so far at Primrose. Our daughter started there when she was only 4.5 months; it was hard for me but being able to see pictures from her day and ask questions live to the staff and teachers on the app made the transition easier. She is thriving, hitting high marks at all her check-ups for physical and cognitive development and I really have to say Primrose was a huge part of that. I love the art she comes home with and when the teachers share funny little interactions with me. I am grateful knowing she is safe and well cared at Primrose!

My daughter absolutely loves going to school every day. We were so impressed with this school and location that we enrolled our youngest son for next fall. Great staff, directors, and teachers. Love the atmosphere and their system for parents to stay connected throughout the day is a wonderful asset to the overall great experience we have had and continue to have.

From the beginning, I was very impressed with the care and education provided by Primrose. We have never had any issues and our daughter has made lasting friends too. The staff are so kind and when I leave for work I always know she is in good hands. This place is worth every penny. Through Covid-19 they have done an amazing job as well. We love Primrose Victory Lakes!

I toured this facility today august 1, 2018 and while its semi decent on arrival and the people at the front desk were nice. The infant session was ok and the kids were well taken care of that i could see. As i got to toddlers section. Early toddlers one female was cleaning a childs nose but the child was not cooperative. The female turned the childs head towards her in an aggressive manner and said something under her breath i couldnt hear out of frustration. In the next stage befor the 2 year old i saw a female grab a child by the arm and placed him down in an aggressive manner as well and grabbed another child and did the same. In the two year old section another female grabbed a child by both arms placed her on the chair and kicked the chair in with the child in it in an aggressive manner. The person (kelly) giving me the tour was informed about it by me but looked at it as not really a big deal. If you get flustered really quick and dont have patience for children then maybe get another job! Thought we would give this place a try but we will have to pass. The prices are ridiculous for the way they treat the kids. Not to mention there were a lot of sick kids in the rooms. Some had boogers and i mean a lot running down their nose to where they were eating them too. To my knowledge i thought daycare/learning facilities did not allow sick children in. Very disappointed!

Great teachers and classrooms but unorganized management team.

I did a lot of research before I enrolled my son & recently looked again to make sure I had made the best decision for my son. I have full confidence that he is taken care of by the staff. Primrose may cost more, but the low student to teacher ratio, nutritious meals, numerous playgrounds (Separated by age) and splash pad are just a few of the bonuses that other facilities do NOT have. His growth with words and counting amazes me. Primrose also offers the extra activity of Tumble Bus once a week, which my son LOVES. The Summer activities were so creative as well.I do sometimes have concerns about sickness in the classroom as I have seen many runny noises when entering the classroom. Though they have a 24 hr - no fever policy, They can't verify that unless the child has a fever when he/she arrives at the facility. That is no fault of Primrose. You will find this at any daycare facility. The staff turn around has also concerned me. My son feels more comfortable when he has a familiar face to go to in the morning. In order to ease my concerns, I decided to ask why.... The reasons were justifiable & gave me more confidence in the director and the facility. They know more than they may let on.I have been known to just "Stop by" Primrose to look in on my son. I do it w/o his knowledge to see how he is interacting. Many times when I go, I find The director walking the halls & standing out of view (in stealth mode) looking into the classrooms. She watches & if she sees something, she steps in & calmly corrects the situation/makes suggestions for corrective actions. The Director is a mom too. She is always willing to listen and is very reasonable to speak with.Lets face it, we all wear rose colored glasses when it comes to our kids & think they are perfect in every way. When out of our sight, our children may not be the little darlings we think they are. Hitting, biting, not listening, pushing, screaming, and crying can be a few of the behaviors they show while at Primrose. I have faith that Primrose employs people who want to spend their days with children, know how to handle these situations and want to teach them.

We've had good experience at Primrose School of League City at Victory Lakes. My 3-year grandson is visiting her from Virginia because his mother is on military deployment. At the time of enrollment, he was 2 years old and was placed in the early preschool class. The teacher was great in welcoming him and helping him adjust to his new environment. Approximately 3 weeks later, he was moved to the preschool class because he would soon be turning 3 years old. The preschool teacher was also great in welcoming him and very patient with his potty training. Although I don't interact with all Primrose staff, my encounter with each of them, whether at the front desk, hallways, or classroom, has been pleasant and positive. The location is excellent!

We’ve been very happy with our experience at Primrose. The first thing we noticed was the attentiveness of the teachers. They are very engaged with the children. In addition, our daughter has responded well to the low student to teacher ratio. They provide early breakfast, regular breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and evening snack for kids who are still there at 5:30. This can make a huge difference in blood sugar, behavior, and overall well being.

I enrolled both of my children here after recommendations from friends. My son is 3.5 and is busy and strong-willed. They spent more time sending him home than actually trying to help him. At his age, I can continue to work with his issues and try to get him help. The deal breaker is expelling my 1 yo from their school for two weeks for biting. I was told her biting had become "excessive and aggressive". A ONE YR OLD CUTTING FOUR TEETH. This is not education or loving of a child in stages of their NORMAL development. I will search for new people who can understand children's normal development and teachers who can provide a bright/strong-willed child with the skills and stimulation he needs to flourish. This place is NOT it. Not even close.
