I have been doing my taxes here for many years, thanks to a friend's recommendation. Matt is great; he is knowledgeable, detailed oriented, honest, and always looking for the best interests of then customer. I had to move from state a cities a couple of times and he not just managed the changes, but made recommendations based on my personal needs. I highly recommend Matt and the whole team because they know what they are doing; even if you are not in the same city, their service is spectacular!

2017 was quite a year for our family. We lost our home to Hurricane Harvey & 2 weeks later lost my mother-in-law to cancer. Needless to say there was a lot to deal with in the wake of all of that. Having Matt Shell's expertise & assistance with both my mother-in-law's taxes & our personal taxes for 2017 was such a blessing! He took great care of us and took a huge burden off our plates in the midst of a long list of "to do's" in our recovery.

My experience with Main Street Tax Advisors was wonderful. My CPA, Matt Shell (whom I had never met) helped my realtor, Jason Kieschnick of Zann Commerical Realty with the sale of a commercial building. When I picked up my tax returns, Matt took the time to explain everything he did in detail. His Client Coordinator, Sherri Campbell, was also a joy to work with. When you call, Sherri answers the phone, and is always very friendly. When I go to the office, if Matt is not busy, he will come out just to say "hello." The best part, though, is the chocolate candy in the outer office. I would highly recommend this firm for all your tax needs.!!!

Excellent service! They do not prepare on the spot which reduces the margin of error since they take time review everything and find all possible deductions. Each year I have been surprised by my returns! They have even helped me adjust my W-4 to reduce the amount I get back. This is a personal thing for me as I don't like giving the government an interest-free loan throughout the year. You get a solid service with a cerified CPA review at an extemely competitive price. I highly recommend them!

My husband and I just had the best experience ever! We stop in to ask a couple questions and without hesitation, Matt welcomed us back to his office!!! He took time out of his day to help us without an appointment. It was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Matt and his staff.

Called and spoke to someone on the phone about the cost of getting our taxes done, I clearly stated what we had going on and was quoted a high but doable price. They don't work with you face to face. You have to drop everything off. You get charged extra if they have to email you a question. (But they don't tell you that.) We got emailed a question that we had filled out on the form correctly. Still got charged for it. Total price was over TWICE what we were quoted. Total rip off. Nobody should charge 650 dollars to do taxes!! Don't use them!
