I have been a loyal customer of this merchant for years and have been pleased with the products when I have picked them up in person. However, I just had a major renovation of our backyard and ordered sod in advance. It was delivered in the afternoon before we were planning to install it to make sure when the hired hands arrived we could start early. Unfortunately, the quality of the sod delivered was awful. One pallet was barely useful with the blades of the grass yellow and brown. When we started on the second pallet, it was all dead, had mildew on top and bottom of each piece, and as we got three layers deep any blades that were not brown looked like boiled spinach. They were cooked. Not only was the grass bad, the number of pieces was not what we were told. Each pallet is supposed to have 168 pieces for 450 sq feet. The number did not reach 150 pieces. When we complained they offered to replace one pallet, but we had to get it and return the bad grass ourselves, even after paying a delivery charge of $85 for transportation less than a mile. We lost two valuable hours and paying people to wait around while we got the one pallet and returned the dead sod. All in all, it was a poor investment of $460. If you buy anything there, be sure to pick it yourself. Do not have it delivered because what we got was "trash" as one of their own workers said. Normally, a good reputable business will try to correct errors and make things right with the customer.

We had a sprinkler system installed and a bunch of so-called garden dirt brought in. The garden dirt was more than half clay I've never had so many problems as I have now since they redid my backyard I have pests that I never had before I have plants that are just dying because of the dirt they gave me they told me it was good quality garden dirt it was not

Do NOT buy sod from them...The sod I bought 6 weeks ago still looks horrible...When I was delivered it was brownish, I was told it was in shock but once I installed it and water it, it would start looking healthy...That is not what has happened..It's still brown and dead looking... The lawn company who mows my grass said I was ripped off, that the sod was almost dead when I got it, and its probably not going to make it...So I'm out 280.00 because of them...When asked to make it right, I have been told repeatedly they would have someone call me back...Still waiting for that call...Horrible customer service, horrible product, horrible looking yard...I'm embarrassed and ashamed of of my way my yard looks because of their sod....I bought some sod from another company 2 weeks ago and it's already growing so well you can't tell it the difference between it and the established grass in my yard

Proceed with caution. We had an AMAZING product delivered but didn’t get enough. We ordered more of the product and it was garbage that was filled with sand and mulch. My beautiful birthday gift now looks like garbage. I’m actually crying at how awful this situation is. The colors don’t even match - that’s how much DIRT, MULCH, and SAND that was delivered with our 2nd load of pea gravel. Thank you for absolutely ruining my garden space. I went from having something beautiful that I loved to wishing I never went here to begin with. The customer service is great, the woman who answers the phone is very friendly and polite but that doesn’t do much to help a subpar product that RUINED my birthday gift that was nearly a thousand bucks for rocks, edging, weed cloth, and other garden related materials. Not cool at all.

Prices are reasonable, delivery was exactly where we requested. Very poor communication however. Waited over 2 hours for the guy to come to spread the materials delivered and found out that his equipment won't fit into a 6 1/2 foot gate. Apparently they need at least 8' and they can't carry the materials but must drag it to where it needs to be spread. Bit of false advertising. At least they will refund the price of the tractor work, but now have to find someone else to do it. And have 10 yards of materials sitting in the street. They were nice enough, but they didn't pay attention to what the limitations were when we ordered the service. Still, if you aren't needing tractor work, these guys are very good!

I ordered 4 yards of garden soil on a Saturday. They promised delivery in 2 hours and it was dumped in the spot I asked for within the promised time frame. The girl who answered the phone was pleasant and efficiently handled my call. The driver of the truck was quick and careful of our power lines. He had to be a skilled driver to get into our driveway and dump the load quickly without doing any damage. I will call again.

Ordered black dirt payed an extra 50$ to have it delivered at 3pm. At 3pm I received a phone call, they asked if they could deliver the next morning. I said no I have people that I payed to be here at 3pm, and I'm paying them by the hour. They told me that they were loading the right then and it would be on the way. The truck shows up I tell him where to drop the load he dumps a load of brown sand in my front yard and leaves. I called them and complained and they gave me my money back. You be the judge!
