Just went to Great Clips in League City by Hobbs. I only use Selena, and I was told they let her go. Well, me and my family will be going to Sports Clips now. The other girls there do not know how to cut hair.

I’ve gone to this location since moving to Texas in 2017. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It appears over the last 4-6 months that the owners changed. Haircut prices went up by $3 overnight and they no longer offer military/first responder specials OTHER than on Memorial Day. It also appears that owners/“leadership” weeded out some of the best staff like Selena who ran that place flawlessly. It’s extremely disappointing to watch new owners destroy the customer base over a couple of bucks and refusing to support the military/first responders. o7

My go to for haircuts. The staff at my location is amazing, peofesaional, friendly, and engaging. They seem to enjoy what they do. If you haven't tries them... give them a chance

The last 2 times I’ve come to get my undercut shaved I’ve had issues. The last time I asked for a fade on the back and it came out horrible and uneven. I went today and just asked for a 2 on the back to avoid the same issue and later as I was showering there was chunks of hair coming out. The lady went too high near my ear and shaved off parts of my hair.

This is the place. Ask for Mel. She’s a lovely black lady who is skilled with the clippers. I didn’t want to give my phone number (I like my privacy) and Great Clips on Bay Area Blvd told me they wouldn’t cut my hair unless I gave them my personal phone number. I asked Mel at the 96 location if I could get my hair cut without giving my phone number and she said, “sure.” She entered the “customer refused” option in the system and gave me the best hair cut I’ve had in a long time. Remember, ask for Mel.
Stylist: Gentlemen, ask for Mel. She’s awesome.

I always use their online checkins and their clip notes ensure I get a consistent cut each time. I’m also a huge fan of their prepaid cards so I buy a years worth of haircuts each fall at a discount. Keep your eye out and ask for them around thanksgiving or so.

Selene, was really freindly she cut my kids, grandons and my hair she was very patient and gentle and we loved the outcome of each single one of our hair! Would recommend to ask for her!
