My dog is usually fearful and reactive at vets but he did much better here. I appreciate them willing to work with my fearful, reactive dog.

The customer service was poor. The vet was great, but her help was rude and did not greet us. She made us feel like we were bothering her.

If there was less than 1, I'd award that. No communication with any person, place, or thing. Call, get voice mail. Didn't know better so bought the 'deal'. Do I really need DNA testing on the dog? Not like he's trying to track down his parents. The 'deal' is supposed to cover everything. Except for what you need on a visit. First puppy visit before The Deal was around $600. Left many messages, none ever returned. Tried to cancel the deal when I realized it didn't cover anything pertaining to pet maintenance but was told would have to pay prorated balance. For less than no care. Happy to report it expired after a year and now we are with Bayside Vets who are wonderful.

First visit. Seems clean, was not busy up front when we arrived. Taking off one star for the extended wait despite having an afternoon appointment and arriving early. Wish they had a separate area for kitties or that they'd put us in an exam room to wait. Our ex feral kitty in a carrier wasn't happy with all the dogs that were coming/going. Our technician and vet were worth the wait though, they were very friendly, answered all our questions & were very thorough with the exam. Thanks Dr. Ashley N Polasek!! You are an amazing vet!!!

We absolutely love this vets office! It's always so easy to get in, and we love the monthly membership. Great Dr's and the manager of this facility will take the time to discuss your pets' information with you. We can't say enough about this place.

I have both of my puppies on the wellness plans here and have had 4 visits between the 2 of them all of which went so smoothly. When I had originally scheduled their first wellness appointments as per initial plan sign up requirements, I scheduled my German shepherd first and my husky second. My husband and I ended up deciding we should have our husky puppy seen first and our German shepherd puppy seen on the next day I had scheduled on the day of the first scheduled appointment. I called and they were easily able to switch the animals and no appointments got messed up in the process and got incredible treatment towards both my pup and I. At our German shepherd’s appointment they saw that our husky had a different vet than our shepherd so they made sure to put them both with the same vet which was awesome. Every appointment has been on time and the only “issue” I’ve ever had is the vet being glove deep in a dog having surgery but I was given the option to wait if I wanted but I didn’t feel the need to because their vet techs are just as knowledgeable and skilled as the vets so I felt confident only speaking with the vet tech. Super nice and courteous staff who called after using the chat service the night before to check on my puppy and see if he needed to be seen immediately and how he was doing after reviewing the issues brought up to the vet I chatted with.

Banfield in League City is awful. I have been taking my dogs to Banfield for 10 years. We started in Webster and moved to League City when it opened. We never had problems at Webster but have had terrible experiences at League City. Every appointment for the last several years has been screwed up in some way and I'm just done at this point. Check in takes forever. Expect like 30 min or more to drop your dog off and pick them up. It doesn't matter how much info you give them. They will not make note of it and will forget to do at least one of not more of the services you request. They don't do office visits so you have to drop your pet off and your pet will sit there forever while they work on other animals. They overbook themselves so it takes forever for a basic service.I brought my dog in because she is peeing gushes of blood which is pretty serious. All they did was a simple urinalysis which took 2.5 hours. They didn't even bother doing a blood test or an ultrasound. When they called me the tech said she had a UTI. With that much blood there is no way the only problem is a UTI. I told them I wanted more tests run to make sure she doesn't have kidney disease or bladder cancer or something more serious. I said that I don't care about the cost I just want to make sure my dog is okay. The tech could not answer my questions so she said the doctor would call me back. I waited another full hour before calling to follow up only to be told the doctor was still busy. When the doctor finally called 30 min later she said the only thing they checked on my dog was a urinalysis. So aside from taking a 2 min urine sample my dog just sat there for over three hours while the vet helped other animals she felt were a higher priority. I was so irritated I told them we would go to another vet. Also when I picked her up her elbows were covered in sticky crap like they had her laying in a dirty kennel. Save yourself the grief and go to a vet that will actually care for your pet.

Not recommended.Too many issues to mention without a short novel. Three different dogs, three different owners (family).Short version, caring on the surface nothing but an animal profit machine. The most minor inconveniences of normal animal behavior (not aggressive) results in”we don’t have time for that”. No cleaning after gland expiration and numerous other get ‘em in and out practices.

In the last two months I've had my two cats euthanized, both of them at Banfield. To euthanize a pet who you think of as a family member is a heart wrenching decision. The vets and staff at Banfield were so compassionate with both my cats and myself, I can not begin to explain how important that was to me. They all made me feel like they knew me and my cats and were truly supportive. Thank you all for helping me with this difficult task.

This Banfield location is a stand-alone office. It's not located within a Petsmart which makes it nice to get in and out of. They are always very courteous to my pup and I feel like she is in good hands. The only reason this is not a 5 is because I pay for a Banfield plan that I purchased about 3 years ago, they've charged me monthly since the purchase of this plan. They failed to tell me that for the last year, I've been paying a heartworm medication they no longer carry. Someone at this location was courteous enough to inform me and make the changes to my plan. Overall, this location is one of the best.

Had to wait a long time just to drop off my pets today and it was a scheduled appointment. Meanwhile other pets that were being dropped off AFTER my appointment seemed to go right on back once they were checked in. Smells a little suspect to me. I will be looking to find another place to have my fur babies taken care of. This morning was unacceptable.

The inside of the place is nice, as well as the staffing. There seemed to be a bit of miscommunication on their part when it came to us refusing the dental cleaning service for our cat. Everytime we spoke with someone, they asked about it, even though we repeatedly refused.
