This place is not only knowledgeable but also honest. I tell my friends and family who are mercedes owners how there is no other place that exist to properly take of their Mercedes outside of the dealership. Autohaus Ruffner specializes in Mercedes. This is all they work on, so they are truly experts. I have a conviction on being fiscally responsible, so if I Autohaus Ruffner did not exist, I wouldn't own a Mercedes. #facts They help make being a Mercedes Benz owner affordable. Another important factor is that they DO NOT take forever working on your car like so many of the experiences I have had, and they are great communicators.

My neighbor recommended Autohaus Ruffer based on his experience with his two Mercedes. Took our 2016 450amg for routine maintenance. The biggest surprise was the cost that was half of what the dealership charged. They were very knowledgeable regarding this model. The owner spent about 20 minutes with us when we picked the car up, explaining our model and his recommendations regarding future maintenance. Will definitely return.

For those who only want the synopsis. This shop is excellent, honest, helpful and the best shop for all Mercedes cars. Hands down. Mic drop. I have an old (1976) 450SL. Others claim to be Mercedes specific, but won't touch a car of this age. These folks not only accept them, they know everything about them. They know which aftermarket parts are the best and freely share the information on those jobs that are DIY simple. And if you screw it up (broke a bolt on the rear sway bar that is unreachable but most standards) they will fix it for a very fair price. They will give a customer a priority list on a project car like mine. They even give limited advice over the phone to a DIYer customer who has gotten in over his head. Their passion for these cars is evident. The car was not running well when I bought it. I replaced the most obvious things, timed it, played with the idle and air flow sensor. It ran a little better, but I was still not happy with it. After a visit for some steering and front end issues, they tuned it and it runs like a champ. Especially when they recommended only top quality gas. Shell or Exxon. No Valero or no name gas. All high octanes are not the same. I can attest to the fact it makes a difference. These guys are rare people to find these days. They are fair on charges and will not nickel and dime you to death. I highly recommend this shop. And for anyone who knows me, that's a rare compliment, and one you can bank on.

Great place, I brought in a 1983 380 SL and they treated her with kid gloves. They are very cost conscience and talk you through the entire process. I highly recommend them, five stars all the way around!
