Just heard through the Grapevine that a Very Negative review was posted by a new resident to our area. Having lived here for 15 years with a long daily history at this post office I had to speak up for our beloved Postal worker "Sandra"! I could not ask for a more friendly, Cheerful and helpful person to assist with all my mailing and receiving mail!!! I have never been to the Post Office where I was not greeted with a smile and a great attitude! I would go as far to say that after all this time I would consider Sandra as a friend. . She is special! Wonderful lady! If anyone has a problem with Sandra it must be their attitude! She goes above and beyond. Thank you Sandra for all your hard work and attention to detail! This customer appreciates you more than you know!

I'm speaking up regarding your employee named Sandra at the LaRue post office location. When visiting my sister who lives in the neighborhood I shop a lot. Two to three times a year I have shipped 14-20 Priority Boxes home. Sandra is the only employee at the desk in the LaRue office when I drop off packages. She is friendly, polite, detail oriented and the process for my packages to ship is thorough and quick. Before leaving she always reminds me to enjoy my stay in Texas. As a manager of a busy office I have hired many employees. If Sandra lived near our office I would hire her immediately. This caring woman treats everyone with kindness and takes pride in her work and helping those she serves daily. Many thanks Sandra you are fondly remembered always.

I'd like to start this lengthy review by giving my mailman LARRY, a 5⭐.. No issues with him, he does his job.Being that I'm new to LaRue I've tried hard to not immediately pass judgment on the customer service here. So I've had about five encounters in my year and a half here with the "front desk" which is strictly one person (Sandra). Mainly only for missing package issues or a package intercepts I've scheduled. I absolutely dread stepping foot in that office because of "Sandra". She is a miserable being who is very unhappy in her job and perhaps should seek another profession (or some counseling). I'm anxiously awaiting her retirement. She is super rude, even when it's a problem created by USPS. I've had missing packages/mail that I don't even seek out because that's how much I dread seeing her rude face when I walk in the door. Lady, I'm here as a CUSTOMER to pick up mail/packages that I AM PAYING TO RECEIVE. You have one job! A job that, if based out of any other city in America, would be significantly more stressful. Maybe be thankful that you do have such a job and do it happily and to the best of your ability. Because if I'm being honest you kind of suck. & have no personal skills. BE BETTER.I'm fresh out of DFW where USPS workers get no breaks and the line is ALWAYS out the door. Never have I received such poor customer service from a single staff member there. Maybe do a week of job swap? That oughta fix that pisspoor attitude of yours.I don't even like posting negative reviews but I've pretty much had it. Multiple opportunities to show even a shred of concern or basic KINDNESS could've prevented it. Someone please update me when she retires. UNTIL THEN I'll try to communicate strictly with Larry. ✌️

Our usual Postal Worker Sandra was on vacation. Sandra always gives outstanding service and could not be any more courteous. Always friendly and offering a smile EVERY time I enter the office. HOWEVER, the substitute for the past 2 weeks is horrible! I received an email that my package had arrived. My husband was passing by the office and I asked him to p/u the package. The sub "Olivia" informed him there was no package. He even remarked "that is not the regular lady, this one was really rude". So after checking my box for a few days , no package I called the company and they gave me the tracking #. Went back to the P.O. gave the # to Olivia. Again she said its not here. She then proceeded to open the main door of the P.O. boxes to look to see if it was misplaced. I was standing at the door some 12-15 feet away and glanced her way. She then started screaming at me "You are committing a felony by looking over here" . I could not believe my ears. She also said "Tell Sandra when she returns" So I'M suppose to wait another week to find out about my package??? I feel that "Olivia" has no conception of customer service and does not belong in the Post Office. I reported her to the Athens Post Office and was told by a very nice, understanding gentleman "Travis" that she would be hearing about it. Can't wait until Sandra comes back!!!
