Request repair since December 2023 and repair has still not been done as of Feb.14, 2024, called several times no answer, no show for when appointment stated in Jan. 27th 2024. Bad repair service company for contract labor for Sears (Armadillo Appliance in Laredo Texas) Kenmore Washer plug ? even broke off the grounding off plug, and the technician refused to replace ? repair and report it on the service call. I need a new washer, that's why I purchased the warranty at the store when it was open.

My cousin was there when the technician arrived. And I feel disappointed w Sears service.
First, The order that I had placed was for my dryer. But the technician’s order was for a stacked washer which I don’t have. I’m not sure how that happened.
Second, please provide customer service trainings to your technicians. This is a consistent problem in Laredo and this gentleman, Roberto, was no different. There is an effective way to talk w customers and this needs to be conveyed. His tone was rather hard, somewhat confrontational and to some degree conveyed an unwillingness to do much of anything.
Third, he didn’t have diagnostic tools to check my dryer and the vent. This is surprising to me. Is this correct??
Fourth, he told my cousin that based on his visual observations that the dryer was fine, and to get the apartments to check the exhaust that leads out to the open. This just sounds incomplete to me. My dryer gets a vent light alert and a code error sometimes - not all the time - and just isn’t drying well. I called Sears w the hope that there could be a comprehensive assessment of the problem. But I feel like that didnt happen today.
Fifth, he still charged $100 plus taxes without doing a diagnostic check on the dryer. Is this correct??
If someone can call me that would be great.

Repair man tried to double charge me for the service fee. When I questioned him he got mad and canceled my appointment. I was reminded why I stopped dealing with Sears 16 yrs ago

# I. Get live operators on the phones. Impudent computers do not set the stage for a pleasing interaction.The repairman who came to the house was very pleasant, did his work in a very competent fashion. He did a two-man job , exhibiting knowledge well above the average worker. This man should be promoted to a place of supervision & management decision making. Sears could certainly regain some of their lost luster by promoting men such as this to upper level management positions.

Sears Home Services used to be excellent... It has changed DRASTICALLY. Today is the SECOND TIME that they have scheduled a repair appointment and then just NOT SHOWN UP. No warning, no notice, nothing. I took the day off and spent the entire day waiting at home and every time I checked my appointment status on the Sears website it showed it as on track. At the end of my appointment window I called to see where the tech was and was told that he was not coming after all...NO explanation as to why I was not notified.

Customer support was great over the phone and Oscar, the repairman, was really professional and very thorough when checking what was wrong with our washer and explained to me what he was doing and what it needed. When he told me I had a faulty sensor he ordered it and explained he would have it ready asap. Was really grateful that the part got here before the week was done. He called and came over immediately to fix it. Super happy that they were able to fix my washer especially since I had a ton of laundry that I had to do before it stopped working.Service: Washing machine repair

Worst Customer Service EVER. Still waiting over 3 months for a Washer under warranty to be fixed. Would be cheaper to replace. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!! On hold to talk to benefits and it takes 2 to 6 hours even the call back can be over 8 hrs.
