“I have been going to Vegas for many, many years. They started in Nuevo Laredo and enjoyed the notoriety of such visitors such as First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The store itself is worth a trip to Laredo. Meeting Mr. Vega is another reason. His knowledge of the real "Obra artesenal" of Mexico in many hidden places in Mexico. . Vega's has always had very high quality, unique items he discusses. He can also relate how he knows every square inch of Mexico. One unique item I purchased is a hand woven handbag from Michoacán. This bag is beautifully embroidered and has lasted for years. Take a moment to visit Vega's. I always look forward to returning.”

There is also an air conditioned indoor area with goods. We were told that everything was half off the marked price. Started the day at this location and made a return visit to pick up some items.”
