I literally found a kitten in the road near work, i tried to grab it and it went into the parking lot and got in a tire well. Got it out of the tire well and tried to drive it right down the street (literally 500 yards) and they told me they dont do walk ins. Then told me to take it back and call for a pick up. So i did that and they have yet to show up and now they wont answer their phone.

Not impressed with this facility. First, they have terrible hours and if you go there the "escort" that walks you through the kennels doesn't give you a chance to pause and look. In my case he seemed to be in a hurry (I forgot my roller skates). Why would anyone adopt an animal that they can't interact with? Also, some of the kennel fence gates have covers on them (probably for shade), but the observer can't see into the cage ..maybe through a small opening if you're lucky. Lastly, the office staff I encountered looked unhappy and didn't even say hello upon eye contact....which actually detracts from the thought of adopting there. Typical Laredo vibe. The poor animals need better ambassadors and the place needs much improvement in the customer service area. I will never return. I'd rather find my own street dog or buy from a puppy mill.

They took my Labrador that had a collar that looked healthy and had a home. But they continue to leave these dogs that have bitten my tires every time I pass by. I can’t even walk thru this road without being chased or barked at. Bruni and Lee Ave La ladrillera. Do your job and remove them 7 dogs in TOTAL ALL ON THAT SPOT

Very bad service and their "polisas" dials that they have are ridiculous. If you find a defenseless animal on the street, you cannot pick it up, because they charge you to go and leave it in the animal shelter. They should be grateful that one is doing their job for Them. Because we talk to them and they will never lift the animals.Very bad service!

Very sad place, employees are so ugly…they need to hire people that are willing to actually help animals..my brother and I called to ask if they would take in a stray dog that was outside my grandmothers house and they said yes before 5 we told them we are on our way….we get there at 5:01, they opened door to tell us that they couldn’t accept the down…it was just horrible experience, the employees said they were going to get a write up for taking in the dog??♀️ridiculous how can you work there and not care ?sad

Why don’t you include the city ordinances this in your posts also when you pick up the animal? You’ll get a citation anyways you have to go to court to justify.Proof of ownershipCitation of dog at large.Citation if animal doesn’t have a microchip.Citation of rabies vaccine. Has to be from licensed veterinarian from the us if from across it’s not you’ll get cited for the unvaccinated animal for rabies.

If I could leave zero stars i would. I called in anticipation yet the lady did not specify that i needed to bring in an id with an address. I spent time and was going to pay what they charged to take in some kittens yet for some reason still they cannot accept a perfectly valid ID. A passport is a legit proof of identification. Terrible place. Obviously doesnt care about the animals safety.
