Laredo airport Avis rental placeWe got our car first and not only did we had to go get it ourselves, but it wasn’t on the right place and the numbers of parking spots were not visible. Had to go back inside of airport and told them the car they had provided for was really dirty.We got offered another car (suv) when we put our luggage on the back we noticed that it didn’t have any windshield wipers.So we went back to airport office and told them about the situation with the car and it was a safety issue driving a car without windshield wipers. We got offered the third car (Malibu) it wasn’t very cleaned, but at that time we just wanted to leave. Claudia was the receptionist and Javi was the gentleman that was washing cars for Avis and he was the only that was a great helped to us. We asked Claudia if we could talk to the manager and responded by saying he wouldn’t be until Monday at 9:00 am. Luckily that was going to be the time we would return the car.Monday morning came and it was 9:00 am we were at the airport Avis office returning the car and expecting to talk to Ryan (manager). Founding out that he wasn’t going to be in the office until 12:00 pm. Cj the only person that was there which by the way was dressed in turquoise shorts black dirty tshirt and tennis shoes. He called Ryan and said that he wasn’t going to be in the office due to a corporate meeting in San Antonio.In summary, yes we were very disappointed and won’t rent a car at Avis anymore

Estela did a fantastic job. She was very professional, and kind. Worked with us on getting a different rental because the one requested wasn't available and we didn't like the truck option. She also handled a billing issue once I received the E receipt. She went above and beyond. Thank you,

made a reservation with traveling agency and i was told that they did had any records of me paying so i had to swipe my card again.and now i am stock with paying twice and now they wont give me a reimburse for $700.

Carr was parked car away from the airport. Was charged $18, don't know for what. Nobody was there to dropped the car. Worst customer service.

When I picked up this car first of all the car was FLITHY DIRTY 2 nd it was parked a mile away 3rd there was trash left in the car & boxes of empty trash in the trunkMost of all the INSIDE WAS FLITHY DIRTY. Also was not washed …. Worst rental I’ve ever rented from Avis

Estela at the front desk is very rude and provides terrible customer service. She made us cancel our existing reservation and create a new one at the place without letting us know this would increase the price by around 15%. She also took a call while she was helping us. At the end of the call, she came bacl upset that the client had hung up on her. Im sure she was as delightful to them as she was to us.

I really enjoy coming to this Avis facility. The Avis employees are always nice and prepared. For example, I would receive a call that my rental was ready for pick-up incase I needed it earlier. Additionally, I like the variety of vehicle options at this location. They have all type of vehicles for any occasion.

Very sketchy business. I used the drop box when I returned my car. I received an email stating that the rental was extended another 3 days. The keys had been returned and th vehicle fueled. I arrived at the location for an explanation, the representative located the keys and "returned" the vehicle in the system. Very poor customer service.

Unscrupulous operations. ***SEE PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM A FEW DAYS AGO WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE***! We dropped off our rental car on a Thursday morning and they charged us as though we returned it on Friday. When I called to inquire about this erroneous charge, “Estella” told me: “I checked the box on Thursday and we didn’t find the keys. But then we found them in the box on Friday.” After going back and forth with her for a while, Estella conceded that it was their error, but that they couldn’t process a refund and sent us to a 1-800 number.Well, THAT customer service representative is also being difficult and said that Avis would have to “open up a case” in order to see IF they are going to refund us the $120.95 that they unscrupulously stole from my company.I was relegated to opening up a dispute with my company business card over this issue. This is a dishonest business practice and we will never rent from Avis again.

Avis at the Laredo International Airport has the worst customer service. If you do not pick up your car by the time they indicate they give it to someone else and you are left with no car, stranded, and pretty much told off. Definitely say no to AVIS!!!

Very professional and super fast service! I had issues with their neighbor rental place and they helped me out right away, I’ll definitely be switching preferred rental place
