Cheap and good prices at this fuel station. However I completely recommend y’all add Apple Pay to these stations. It would be perfect. When I had my card cancelled because of fraud and didn’t have my new cards yet, I had to put in gas but I could not. My cards were only available on Apple Pay at the time and I nearly ran out of gas trying to get here, but I still couldn’t fuel up. I did not have physical cards due to difficult circumstances and it would have been great if I could fuel up here in a pinch.

Everything is bigger in Texas! This HEB is no exception. I'm staying with family in the area and we had to pick up a few things like iced coffee, milk, bloody mary mix, limes and frozen yogurt. (Interesting mix, i know).I was immediately overwhelmed by the size of this place. It's huge. We don't have anything quite like this in upstate NY...especially the wine and liquor section! The variety of wine choices was on par with any well stocked NYS liquor store. Basically, whatever you might need/don't need - or just want - you'll find it here. Did a little research and found out the this is a privately owned chain - by the "Butt" family. HEB stands for "Herbert E. Butt" - and they're based out of San Antonio, TX. Not sure if all of the stores are as clean and well stocked as this one....but it's impressive for sure.

I am a HUGE fan of HEB in Lakeway Texas. I can't imagine shopping anywhere else for my groceries and medication. But I have had 2 or 3 bad experiences with the Pharmacy in the last week. There is one individual who I will not name has been beyond rude and down right unprofessional. I can't say enough for the rest of the staff. But this woman's behavior is going to start turning a lot of people away.

Not bad for a chain. And a local one at least. My only issue is congested parking and the size of the locations accounts for busy, crowded and overwhelming at times really. Whole Foods and Randall's are way less crowded, and perhaps not as popular, but often preferred. Still H‑E‑B has some great prices and a good selection. With old school printed coupons (which they are trying to get away from..I hope not!) to add to the savings. Ample self check out lanes. And always friendly staff..truly some of the best customer service at a grocery store. Glad to have some nice well kept locations nearby (as the inner city locations can be even more congested and sketchy). We truly are spoiled with our selections here..not complaining.

Spectacular selection. Always crowded in the parking lot. Self-check employees are usually there to help with the scanner problems.

I appreciate H‑E‑B protocol for COVID and variant's, it's up too customers to follow, I used delivery and curbside, the delivery curbside always have mask on, it's appreciated even iam fully vaccinated! It's appreciated by me and grateful for all of the choices available to customers!! I salute the workers that made a choice to apply and got hired by H‑E‑B, you have been trained well, if someone is not exemplary, of that training it's not all staff fault. Everyone has off days even customers, the ones who are not following protocol make choices as we all do!! Continue on H‑E‑B staff I need the service COVID or not!! Transplanted from Louisiana, appreciate Lakeway

If you need any assistance, Gene at the pharmacy is the best manager, always so helpful and happy when answering any of my questions, it sure makes it nice having all my medicines at this H-E-B thanks to Gene. Sincerely Micha Skillman

This is my favorite HEB that's near me. They always have more of the items we like compared to Bee Cave. Their gas station is way better too. The checkers are always si friendly. Yes there are times that I have to bag my own groceries but it seems as though when a worker sees that happening, they hurry over to finish it for you. I've not tried this pharmacy since I've had good service with the HEB one that I hate to switch and be disappointed. I'm sure it's fine though! Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this HEB. But a word of caution, don't waste your time and money on their worthless car wash. Lol

Not trying to be mean but if you're going to have a retarded person working, the workers need to watch out for the retarded person. I did not have any interaction with him until he came up to me and said something. He disregarded me and just walked away. So disrespectful. He embarrassed me in front of other people. I am not blaming him but he needs help. The other worker didn't say anything. I am embarrassed.

They could care less about the health and safety of patrons and employees. Disrespectful Karens shop at HEB maskless all the time while the manager is standing claiming they "could" have medical conditions. Mind you this was during and after the mandate so they did not do their part in keeping the health and safety of everyone. I later learned many employees caught covid at this particular store. Last year in October 2020, I witnessed a customer spit at an employee for just doing her job offering masks at the door. I went to the manager myself as a witness to what happened to this poor employee. He told her to just brush it off. Later on that employee tested positive for covid and HEB offered her no compensation whatsoever. Horrible business practice. I grew up shopping from HEB, but I've never seen worst management than this. I like to support socially and ethically responsible businesses so I stopped shopping from HEB ever since.

The H‑E‑B Pharmacy has the best, most professional pharmacy team that I have ever encountered. Every person on the pharmacy is friendly, helpful and assists me in getting my medications. I will to especially note the Jean at the pharmacy is very helpful and takes time to help me understand medicines and insurance issues. Jean is wonderful. We are lucky to have this pharmacy team at H‑E‑B Lakeway. Thank you for reading my wholehearted recommendation for the pharmacy team at H‑E‑B Lakeway. Larry

I would give it 5 stars but I happen to get on a young skinny a****** boy's line. He gave me s*** for asking for a double bag for three boxes of pizza. I was staying at the hotel across the street and did not want my bag breaking while I crossed the highway. When I mentioned to him that I needed a double bag for my walk back he practically spit on me in disgust. I hope his dog dies.

I used to love Wegmans market on the east coast. HEB for me is... better than Wegmans on almost everything other than the food court (because HEB does not have a food court. Central Market does). Out of the 3 HEBs in the neighborhood (West Lake, Bee Cave, Lakeway), this branch is the best one in my honest opinion. 1. The store inside is always so clean and organized. 2. Pharmacy prices are awesome. You don't even have to pull out your RX app. 3. Meat department is amazing!!! We still go to the Central Market for some specialty cut meats (e.g.Kalbi Korean marinade short rib). But honestly, I have no complaints about the HEB meat department. Their quality meat tastes so clean and delicious, and prices are lower than Central Market or even Whole Foods! Their NY strip cuts are better than the ones I had in NY.... 4. Seafood department. Central Market seafood section is much better, however, I don't have any complaints about the HEB one. The staffs are always nice, and I was pretty happy with whatever I got. So far, we've tried lobster, mussels, scallops, and shrimp. HEB shrimp was the least favorite one, but other than that, it was great. 5. I love their veggie department. Sometimes, they have the strangest small local fruits, and they taste AMAZING. And their veggies are always so fresh and crisp. Texans are so blessed and spoiled to have HEB. It is indeed one of the best supermarkets that we've been to.

I'm a big central market fan and I've been having gripes about driving all the way to westlake to go to their grocery. I got fed up one day and decided to use HEB instead...thinking that it would a downgrade from central market. I was pleasantly surprised to learn a few things about this HEB. Firstly, the meat department mentioned that the meat source is the SAME as Central market. But you pay less! You don't have some of the rare cuts and speciality meat at times (e.g., some dry aged meat) but for the most part, it is an equivalent to central market. I confirmed this when I went to central market and asked for lamb rib chops..only to have the butcher bring an HEB package...that was 10-20% more than what was sold at HEB! Their produce is top notch and they have a wide selection of organic fruits and veggies which I always appreciate. The one qualm I have about the HEB is the lack of good prepared foods. Sorry HEB fans. It isn't up to Central market standards. Minus that, this place is great and deserves a 5 thumbs up - especially when you factor in price!
