Labor and delivery are great! We were treated like family the whole time we were there. Caley and Dr. Noreikaite were our favs. No doubt all the nurses there really love what they do!!

I had the most horrible experience with the OBGYN Clinic at BSW Lakeway. Everything is done through the portal and no human interaction at all. You barely get to talk to nurse yet alone your doctor. I was pregnant with my 4th child, and experienced my 2nd miscarriage, the bedside manner and care was absolutely horrific, and they even canceled my D&C with even confiding with me, and did not follow up with ultrasounds or bloodwork. I had to go to my prior OBGYN in Austin to get an Ultrasound and to do my D&C. My obgyn told me if I didn't come in, I could of hemorrhaged or had gotten a horrible infection. Also BSW Lakeway does not have a NICU..

Worst hospital ever. I told them my husband was having a heart attack and they slowly walk to come get him. They dont help him get out of the car or ask him anything they just say I need you to check in before we can do anything. Then they won’t tell me what’s happening or let me back with him. Worst experience ever.

I was in a car accident in 2021 on 620 and was sent to the emergency room here. They sent me home knowing I had hit my head (blood pouring down my face from my hair line with visible lacerations) and couldn't walk on my legs because I had damaged both of my knees with clearance to return to my job for the following week. Upon returning to my job, I was immediately sent home by my supervisor because I 1. needed a wheelchair brought to me because I couldn't walk and 2. was far away from acting like myself, way more agitated and short fused than I usually am. After a month of fighting with medical insurance companies and worker's comp groups, I managed to receive the correct diagnosis of extensive cartilage damage to both knees, a hairline fracture to my right kneecap, and evidence of a major concussion.
While that in itself is unacceptable, the main reason I write this review is because a week ago, almost three years after this accident, I received a notice on my credit score report that my score had dropped over 100 points due to a collections bill on my account. I am now having to file a complaint to have this bill taken off my record with the receipts from the workers' comp organization that paid the bill Baylor Scott and White claims that they did not.
This is multiple levels of unacceptable not only as a place of business, but as a place that is supposed to take care of the people that pass through. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you seek emergency treatment, the extra drive time is worth a more trustworthy patient experience.

Had our 3rd child here. Aside from one nurse who had no bedside manner, we had a very good experience.
Also recently visited a friend there, and had lots of pleasant interactions with the medical staff.

Worst labor and delivery experience. I would not recommend to anyone woman that wants to be treated like a human being after giving birth. From the nurses to the doctors this staff goes out of their way to make you uncomfortable. I chose Ascension Seton for my next delivery and it was truly night and day. I had no pain from IV, at Baylor my right hand had a stinging pain a year after the nurse placing it. My recovery was a joke at this hospital the staff lied to me about what was happening to my body so they could run more test and give me more meds. Only to have my doctor walk in and release me even asking them what are yall doing. Simply the worst don't give birth here.

I was hospitalized for 11 days at this hospital. Beautiful view. Kind staff, well trained and competent. One of the ER doctors, Dr. Boyle, is really top notch, and the entire ER team is incredibly good at what they do. Having been to a few other hospitals, this one stacks up well.
However... we all know how enshittified healthcare has become. My main quibble is really more about BSW in general than about this hospital in particular. All of the nurses have to follow an annoying script. "What is your date of birth? Do you feel safe at home? Are you experiencing any pain?" After hearing the same scripted questions 10 times per day, it feels very dehumanizing, because the lack of care continuity is obvious. One wonders how much time and energy the nurses have to waste on top-down rules and protocols like that rote script.
Another quibble: One of the doctors gave me advice that turned out to be 100% wrong, charged a fortune for it, and clearly spends more time on her hair and nails than on her medical practice. I can't remember her name, since this was 2+ years ago.
Most of the doctors did seem to know what they were doing. She was an exception.

For your next medical vacation, try Baylor Scott & White, Lakeway. There may not be mints on the pillows, but there is turn down service available 24/7. Cocktails available in room, with no need to taste, they hook them to an IV. A beautiful, sweet angel assigned to you will bring your medicines, so there's no need to pack. As a matter of fact, I was driven in a fabulously outfitted vehicle with my own bed, a personal hero in the back with me, in nothing but a nightgown and robe. I was taken up to my room straight into a bed with more buttons than my TV remote. Room service has great options for you, and guests trays for a fee. Attached baths have plenty of space and rain shower heads along with wands. If it wasn't for being sick the whole time, it would have been fun.

Best labor and delivery experience I have ever had. Every single nurse on the labor and delivery floor deserves an award for how amazing they are. I had Nicole and Jennifer that stood out, and I absolutely adored them. They are the kind of nurses that were born to do exactly what they’re doing. My only suggestion for improvement is improving the C-section experience, this is my third one and every hospital has been different… I had the most anxiety on the table with this one only because they didn’t offer a happy medium for my anxiousness… Something similar to laughing gas, but not intense enough to cloud my mind. At the other hospitals I delivered at, they had some kind of concoction that helped me get out of my head a little more yet still be completely lucid and remember. also, maybe having some light music in the background when you’re being wheeled in. Other than that… Absolutely amazing experience, and could not have gotten any better. Definitely deliver here if you are able

Absolutely hands down the best care ever received in a hospital. The nurses are kind. loving, professional, knowledgeable, caring, and most of all, seem happy with their career.

I've been using this hospital for several years for my children and myself. I recently had a surgery as well. Between seeing the ER doctor and nurses for incidents to the stay I had overnight and during my surgery, they are hands down the best!! We live in Dripping Springs and will only use this facility! They are all wonderful and hard working. They stay on top of everything and you don't just sit around waiting for hours! The whole entire staff is amazing and they take their time making sure to make you feel better! The nurses are phenomenal and work tirelessly to wait on you hand and foot! They always have a smiling face and treat you like a person and not just another patient. They go above and beyond measure! I am very glad I chose this hospital for my surgery. They stay was exceptional! I was taken care of better than I had ever been in my life! Thank you Baylor Scott and White for your amazing care you provide. I wish I could give them more stars they are that good! ?

My father is still admitted at this hospital. I was a bit skeptical initially when the paramedics were getting him here but from day 1, at ER to Day 8 now that he is here my opinion has changed. The doctors are knowledgeable and are considerate of the patient’s condition and will do whatever is necessary for the patient and at every point the doctors has been in touch and communicating about my father’s condition and action that they were going to take. The nurses and the clinical assistants are very helpful and supportive and very knowledgeable and will go over and beyond to help the patient and the family. They will always be ready to support with whatever is asked. Cannot thank the hospital and the staff enough for making us feel good with keeping my dad under safe care.
