Back in 2021, these folks gave me an oil change that failed. The car was driven briefly with no oil and the oil was replaced by them the next day. I asked them for a warranty which they reluctantly gave me.
This year after very little miles driven the engine failed.
They claim they had no record of the warranty and did nothing but tow the car there and tow it away. They definitely had a “too bad for you”mentality.
So this little oil change cost me $3800 for a new motor .
I would definitely avoid them and their business practices .

I was in this workshop and they treated me very well, they inspected my vehicle at no cost, they are very friendly and they check your vehicle very well, I recommend them

Chris is always helpful and never trying to sell anything your vehicle doesn’t need. He will try to fix whatever is needed at an economical cost. Honest man.

I brought my car for axle replacement and Rick the front desk guy told me over the phone that replacement will cost me $500-$800. My axle got fixed but charged me $1,270 which is $30 cheaper than Sun Auto. My son brought my car there expecting a good deal price but it’s just a nightmare. After a few days my car started leaking for a reason that it was diagnosed valve replacement at this time and gave me a quote of another $1,000+. I even talked to them to have mercy on me that I never make much money but they’re business people and I don’t know if I can trust them charging me too much money and I’m afraid there will be next problem again in my car if I get it fix with them.

The Lakeway location of Austin's Automotive Specialists is our families go to place for everything related to our cars. Specifically it's Chris, the manager that really makes things happen. He is so customer service focused and wants to make sure the customer is happy. Just yesterday out of the blue, my windshield wiper broke and went crazy and I needed to drive into downtown last night. It was the first day after the long weekend and they were kind enough to help me right away so that I would not have to be out driving with a broken windshield wiper! I was going yo rain and it did! That's just a small thing obviously and , they do a lot of wonderful other more complex things for customers. Thank you again Chris and team. I truly appreciate you.

I own a business locally I will go to no other business, unless Chris can't or doesn't service my need. Chris is the best he is honest he actually cares and is a pleasure to do business with. If I have an urgent situation he will jump in and just take care of it. This is huge to me because a delay in service means a delay for my customers. Love this business!!!!!!!

My turbocharged Honda Civic with 6 speed manual trani was in this shop all week fixing a number of issues. Chris went out of his way to get everything fixed and he also filed a claim on my Honda warranty that helped pay for the repairs. Most places aren't going to do stuff like that but Chris always goes the extra mile for me and my cars. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I bought Chris a $50 gift certificate at Smokey J's BBQ last year because I really appreciate all the times he has fixed things on my car for no charge.
