I’ve been at many Petcos throughout many years and this one is one of the best clean/helpful employees I have experienced in years. The store manager Kaiti is very knowledgeable. She went out of her way just to answer a question that I had about my puppy with his allergies. Hands down best experience.

So where is the .10/bag cost that this Petco is charging, going other than to straight profit for the store? The store owner’s response about “sustainability” in other states doesn’t say that the charge for the bags at this store goes towards “sustainability.”. It’s just another increased cost to the consumer.

They don’t treat their animals with care, just want your money. Please look into exotic reptile places and not here. I got a pacman frog who only lasted 3 days (still had tail) and crestie that passed within a month. Pls don’t buy your reptiles from here. Find somewhere that genuinely cares for the quality of life.

Expensive and little to no service while we were there. They might have been busy stocking or something but it wasn't busy.

My daughter’s birthday is coming up and all she wants is a fish. I saw an add for a special that Petco had a deal where you could buy a bucket and get 20% off fish products. We went in this weekend and Chelsie was there to help us. She is extremely knowledgeable and took her time to help us get the perfect set up for my family. There were three associates working, and they were all busy helping customers and the store was super clean. We always shop Petco for our family needs and are always very well taken care of.

Though I know Im just going to get a reply saying “So sorry you had a negative experience we blah blah blah”, thought Id get it out for people who know thats fake
Pet food? Usual, so good. Pet accessories, toys, etc? Sure, good. Pets? Mistreated, not being taken care of, and not having the right setups. Theres dead animals left in there, reptiles not having correct setup like lighting or a place to hide, and quite a bit more. Very disappointed personally. If you need the pet food or other items, i hope you can find it elsewhere.

I just love this store; friendly people and faces every time I go.
I just love one of the girls (Chelsie)who always goes out of her way to help with anything I need. She is very knowledgeable about the animals and products. She took the time to explain a product to me that I was unsure of. With her knowledge and feed back, I was able to make a solid decision with my purchase.
Just an all around great environment to shop.

RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS: They are charging 0.10 cents a bag. I don’t mind it in other states where it is State wide policy like in Colorado. Here though in Texas right now. Just a single store doing it. Just a pure hidden charge, money grabbing. Just looked at Amazon my price for 350 is $17.99. That works out to just over 5 cents a bag. And yet they are charging 10 cents and you know they don’t pay 17.99 for a box. Just another way to fleece customers. In Colorado 4 cents the business keeps, and 6 cents goes to the local municipality or government. And what’s Petco doing with the 10 cents per bag charge in Texas, besides ripping off customers….
The company did respond as you can see but still did not address the profiting off its customers. They said… “not already impacted by related local ordinances may buy shopping bags”. What if I don’t want to buy the bag since this charge only benefits the current companies corporate profits? Do I say no at the register and get the bag for free, until the state mandates and actually uses the profits to help clean the environment.
